- In today's vlog we head to Universal Orlando CityWalk to finally play the Hollywood Drive In Golf! There are 2 courses, one is a Haunted House type course and the other is an alien invasion course. We had a lot of fun and I liked the theming a lot! This might be a good thing to check out if you have some free time while you're here. Then we head over to Hard Rock Hotel's restaurant, The Kitchen. I got a burger and it was pretty good! Thanks for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

I remember doing this course when we were done at Halloween Horror Nights! Lots of memories as it was my first year at HHN.. and yes, the course looks WAY better at night!!

Back when I went in December I absolutely love city walk and islands of adventure it was a pure dream come true to be there, I can honestly say I miss Florida so much!!! And I remember going mini golfing in the same course shown in video and same side (horror) I miss it all so much honestly.
Loved this one! I love mini golf but never want to waste precious vacation time on it unless I know I'll like it, and this theming is great. Thanks as always!

Glad you finally got a chance to play mini-golf!! We walked by it everytime on the way in and out of the park and thought we should do it, too, and never did!

Looks pretty fun. Price-wise it's pretty comparable to all of the I-Drive mini golf places. I have a soft spot for Pirate's Cove myself for nostalgic reasons.

my family did the scavenger hunt on the alien side, got it all right, and won a round on the hauted side! amazing course, super detailed and clean. it was our first time ever at Universal so it was nice.

We are going to be down there in about a week and half and had thought of doing a couple of rounds to break up our park days a bit. Looks like the courses are VERY well maintained.

This golf course is honestly so much better at night and I love both sides. Definitely fun thing to do if you can't get into a theme park. It can take a while to play at night when it's busier.

I love that course! My friend and I played it two years ago! We did both sides. The alien side is fun too. It's much more fun at night though. There's tons of lights and cool FX!

I actually stumbled upon this place in 2013 while waiting for the Blue Man Group concert to get out. It is now my favorite mini golf place to go. You really have to try it at night time! The glow in the dark is the BEST aspect of it. Puts Monster Mini Golf to shame.
We will definitely be doing this again at night!

I did both of these courses last year at night just to kill time whilst i waited to go into the rocky horror picture show that was playing next door. We had soo much fun with the 2 courses they were both lit up up and had different features and because we played one game the girl at the counter gave us the 2nd course half price. I defo prefer the alien course better.

I've been to City Walk/Universal 5 times and every time I walk over the min-golf i'm always like "oh man that looks so cool I want to play it!" and yet, I haven't done it yet. Skipping a Florida vacation this year because of a move but planning a extra nice one for 2018

Tim, it's always great to live in Central Florida, but there can't be anytime better than now with all the theme park expansions, right? I finally made big vlogging commitment and got the GX7 mark II and the first time I got to use it Islands of Adventure made us first family and we opened the park. I was wondering if you ever got to try this neat experience.

Got there super early. I think because my teenage daughter and her friend were laughing (being cute teenage girls)...It's pretty random....the guy said being there early and wearing Harry Potter gear helps. It's in my latest vlog (cough, plug, plug). The best part is that they give you a 3 day photo pass for being picked!

The Haunted side of the course looks like something out of the Beetlejuice animated show, especially the house!
Hey Tim and Jen! Just got back from watching the Legoland video, and I just wanted to say that you should TOTALLY try building a Lego set sometime! They're amazing and fun! There's actually a 4,000 piece replica of the Disney castle I thought you might enjoy. :P

That looked like it was Really Fun! Not quite as good as Summerland/Winterland though
Tim, does The Kitchen still have their Buttermilk Fried Chicken? If so, I HIGHLY recommend it. We stayed at the Hard Rock during our last stay at Universal, and it was so good, I had it twice during our 5 day stay!
I'll have to go back and look! :-)
