One eg I will give: the rulers in Srilanka suddenly passed an order banning chemical fertilizers. Their intention is only organic cultivation should be taken up hence forth. No dispute in appreciating organic farming but it is one of the major reasons which led to chaos and revolt in Srilanka.
In our country 140 billion mouths have to be fed daily. Last year due to erratic rainfall in the important rice bowels , the estimates show a lower level of rice production. Already we are facing a huge shortage of edible oils and dalls and their import costs are alarming to the govt.
As organic farming is most eco-friendly and produce is healthy shall we also switch over by adopting the teachings and philosophy of these villagers?
If we have low level of population or very low fertility rate we can venture to spread such organic cultivation on a large scale cautiously.
The recent ICT revolution brought many positive changes in man kind which change can not be talked or blamed by any one.
People having full faith on these villagers philosophy can test this by keeping aside their mobiles, ambulences, medicines, transport vehicles etc for few days and find the difference.
