Yiquan Master Yang Shaogeng, A Disciple of Grand Master Wang Xiangzhai (edited by Shifu Changrong Ph.D.)
In this remarkable clip Master Yang Shaogeng (1922-2007), a disciple of Grand Master Wang Xiangzhai (1886-1963) back in the 1940s, is demonstrating Yiquan release of power to fans and martial arts lovers. In the video, Master Yang easily throws the man he is demonstrating with. He even is able to perform release of power when he is approached from behind. The demonstration is really impressive. He emphasizes the use of spiritual power in conjunction with physical power. And, that the release of power is like the multidirectional concussion expereinced from an explosion. It is called Three Dementional Power in Yiquan Philosophy.

He is also a rare descendant of the legendary masters Zhao Daoxin (趙道新先師), Wu Yihui(吳翼輝先師), and Wang Xiangzhai (王薌斋先師).

It's Liang Guibin, one of the early and long time students of Yang Shaogeng.
In the early 80's, when Sanda competition just started to developed in China and still was not mature, he attended some competitions on the province level in Henan. After a few competitions he was banned from further competitions not because he broke the rules, but because he was hitting too heavy and was considered too dangerous for the sport.
