Its really a shame that there were not much improvements in our rail network during the early 2010’s. Imagine if Mrt-7 and the unified grand station started construction at that time? The government really need to start being proactive building rail network than playing catch up. We wont see most of these projects done in 5-10 years. The Filipino deserve so much better

You have to blame on that on the Aquinos Particularly Pinoy (Panot) Aquino who has no vision at all. who only build Monuments and statues for their family throughout their reign!

Where can you find funds for these projects at that time when The Philippines bullish economic growth was just starting? Trust the process! Everything's is right in God's Time. I totally agree that the Filipinos deserve so much better but after overcoming several acid tests and challenges akin to a gold polished to its best quality on fire. Know that The Philippines is conditioned for greatness in the Last Days. 🙏

@@khrysztoffe27 The answer to that is simply our government during the late 00’s and early 10’s played it safe despite being one of the winners of the Great Recession. Our government didn’t burrow enough money to leverage our strong economy at the time. I believe the Philippines government during Aquino’s time were spending 2-3% in infrastructure projects where they could have easily increased that amount by a couple percentages to fast track certain projects that was on their radar like the ones I previously mentioned. I ask, how long do the Filipino have to suffer? I want this country to succeed as much as you do, but with rising inflation and economic headwinds, these grand projects are going to be put under the rug for much longer.

I agree, there were so many opportunities to expand before the pandemic, but sadly, they did not expand early. Now, the Philippines is now lagging behind their neighbours. Before, the Philippines was the first to have a metro train.

@ 2:50, afaik cancelled na yang makati Intra city subway kasi di na economical yung project since yung supposed stations nyan na dating sa Makati is ngayon nasa taguig na. Unless magkaagreement ang taguig at makati or something nyan about that, that project is good as cancelled at least for now.

mrt 7 phase 1's partial operation on 2025 and 2027 for the remaining 2 stations, another 10 years for phase 2 construction of mrt 7 once the phase 1 is operational, and 20 or more years for phase 3. i think the new timeline for lrt 1 cavite extension is 2031 for phase 2 and 3. 2030 for mrt 4.

Also Makati Subway was shelved na pero recently may movement ulit ang project, idk if may adjustments in terms of dadaan because last time, nawalan ng feasibility yung original route at nawala na sa Makati LGU yung nakuha ng Taguig.
How about making one with the MRT masterplan ng SMC din 👏

we need more. 4 is not enough. I have plans. A heavy rail composed of 7 cars from bocau bulacan to dasmarinas cavite, it will cross the manila bay as a subway system and the stations will feature a design kagaya ung sa moscow at st petersburg metro with platform doors as an upgrade na parang spanish style to make it cooler. A heavy rail line which will only be in the provinces of laguna and cavite connecting general trias city to los banos city in the laguna province. an mrt 3 extension to moa but idk of its possible or what we should do to the mrt 3 is add a completley underground tunnel where all stations are completley underground. Like it could be the first metro line in the world that has an elevated system and an underground system in just one frsaking line! And a metro manila subway loop which is an oval one, not a circle cuz a circle one wouldnt be possible. A line from naia t1, 2 and 3 to alabang and balintawak crossing the nlex and slex.

    • @Tester69Mapping

Also, for other provinces even tho some dosent have that many people. In vigan city, we should have 1 or 3 classic looking tram lines, but the porblem is the width of the roads, thats the only problem i guess. A heavy rail line, either a metro or an elevated one from san fernando pampanga to clark international airport or 1 more line at angeles city. In southern luzon 2 or 3 monorail lines in naga city and 2 monorail or light rail lines in legazpi city. In bisaya kailangan talaga ng metro system sa cebu consisting of 2-3 monorails and 3-5 subway lines and 2 lines connecting to mactan cebu airport. In iloilo about 3-4 monorail lines and a cable car line in boracay. In mindanao in cagayan de oro we can have 1 or 2 subway lines or 2 mlnorail lines. In davao city around 4 heavy rail, light rail ot subway systems and 5 monorail systems. In general santos city di ko alam maybe we can build 3 monorail lines. But that aint happening this decade, maybe in the next decade or 2
