Miss the Funcoland days
To this day I still talk about "Black" with my best friend. I was blown away by the graphics and the general punch of that game.

Have to disagree. Never finished the game, the play was very repetitive, so I got bored.
It could've easily been mistaken for an early 360 game. I was glad it was short and sweet. 6 hours to finish and didn't overstay its welcome like so many games drag on

I remember back in the day when my Mom bought me Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee when I was a kid. I had no way of playing it being that I had a GameCube and she thought I had Xbox. I recently bought an Xbox and was finally able to take it out of the cellophane to play it. Great game, I missed out as a kid but I finally have the opportunity.

Halo, HALF-LIFE 2, and Stranger's Wrath were the major selling points for me, along with that hardware. Love xbox.

Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay is probably the best movie title game ever made. It's so underrated that it's painful.

Rallysport challenge 2 was my by far favorite game on the original Xbox I still do have a few original Xbox games laying around but my console did overheat couldn’t fix it so I got rid of it would love to come by it again and purchase one

Ah, Call Of Cthulhu DCOTE. One of my favorite horror games of all time! Such an underrated little gem. :)
480p widescreen/720p and in-game Dolby Digital 5.1 audio on most (if not all) of the games made the Xbox the system for multi-platform releases. Also, Dead or Alive Xtreme and Breakdown.
And all the Sega games.
Im Guessing Kelsey could sell a Super Mario/Duck hunt cart for 50 bucks to a thirsty enough customer.

I dont really like Gaming Channels on youtube but MetalJesusRocks and Kelsey's channel are my favorite by far.
They deserve more credit and i hope Kelsey's channel becomes as big as Metal. So informative and fun to watch.

Awesome video MJR! I'm actually in the process of collecting all the xbox exclusive titles. I still have no idea where I would put steel battalion whenever I obtain that game.
Gun Metal. If you haven't played that game you are missing out. To this day it's still the hardest game I've ever played. I spent a month trying to beat one level on that game. It was such a great game, transforming mechs and fast paced action.
OutRun 2 is awesome, makes me so nostalgic, my dad got it cause he wanted to show me the game as he loved it and I remember I sunk a lot of time into it
Its kind of a throw away game but drinks and 4 player Fusion Frenzy was fun back in the day.

Not sure im not a proper gamer nerd but in australia i got a mate years ago to chip my original xbox with 4000 arcade games ,commodore 64, n64, play station,sega master system and mega drive games .....works pretty good and still works today , he installed one in a old stand up arcade machine so you can play all the arcade games through a proper old arcade machine as well as xbox games ect ....it is pretty cool

I'm so happy to have a pretty good quality copy of operation Genesis and I'm even happier to have it installed to my modded Xbox, so I can have it forever because not only is it the most expensive game, it's the single most fun game on the Xbox in my opinion.

I'm a huge fan of the original Xbox and have produced many episodes of "Xbox Classics" for my channel. I currently own about 400 games for that system.
But I could not imagine ever going for a complete Xbox Collection. There are just soooo many sports games for the Xbox. I'm the kind of collector who only sees value in collecting games I'll actually play. What would be the point in owning 400 American football, hockey, actual football, and baseball games?
When you guys were talking about rare games for the system, I'm surprised nobody brought up either Fatal Frame. Both are quite difficult to find.

I guess its time to bring in the Wii collection to Pink Gorilla! At one point I was thinking about going for the Xbox set. I pick them up for $1 or $2 at Pawnshops, Garage sales, ect. I'm at around 350 so far. I can't image just buying a complete set at one time though. Awesome vid!

I'm late to comment on this BUT oh my the OG Xbox was so much fun and an amazing console. Actually my favorite of its generation and my third favorite console EVER after SNES/Dreamcast and OG PlayStation (what do you mean putting two consoles in the first place is cheating ? :D).

Return to castle wolfenstein on the xbox also had some unique elements, like the co-op mode and some unique multiplayer maps.

I remember spending a lot of time playing Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. It was so fun and many people ignored it because it was a game companies first game and very shortly after release the company was bought by Blizzard so it had almost no marketing.
I loved Jurassic Park operation Genesis! I put in hundreds of hours back in the day on my PlayStation 2. I had it on my PC as well, my discs are long gone but i still have a copy on my hard drive of the PC version.

PSO ep 1+2 is a pretty weird game for the original Xbox. It's also one of the few Xbox games that is actually unplayable now without modding your Xbox or buying someone's Gamertag.
I got Outrun 2 recently for my OG xbox and it’s a blast to play once you familiarize yourself with the controls. The coast 2 coast game is way too expensive so I found the pc version on the archive website and played it to compare with outrun 2. It was fun too but not over $350 fun lol

2:45 Now I say this with all due respect but...NFL2k5 is considered the best football game of all time by a lot of the circle that plays those games. There's still updated rosters you can download for it to this day.
For PC. They're referring to console copies that you find in a bin for 50 cents or less.
+akabiscuitwaffle - ESPN NFL 2K5 is not on PC (unless you emulate the PS2 version). Alan is saying that 2K5 is widely considered the best football game from that generation all the way up to today. So she literally should have used any other example besides NFL 2K5, since that is the ONE sports game anyone would actually still want to buy.
∞Phantasm Older PC sports games do pretty well. Certain ones have large followings and are consistently having their rosters updated. Even new features are sometimes added.

Older PC games, as in physical copies. Although you can get digital versions of them for free or very cheap. The original physical copies of PC games are considered collectors items and hold a value separate from the digital counterpart.
