How will this DT03T Chassis handle the sands?
Why do I think this model is not as good as others in the Tamiya Range

It was one of those moments that you had to laugh, luckily the shell was recovered before it got out to see too deep and we didn’t have to alert the coastguard 🤣😂👍

I think he did more exercise that day than he had all year! I watched the Father Ted Christmas Special last night, I think the bleakness is just right on that show, maybe it’s good there are not that many episodes, like Fawlty Towers. The Aqroshot is a miss for me 🤔👍

I have just begun with Tamiya (Blitzer Beetle), so to watch the running of the Aqroshot. Was pretty interesting. Thanks fo sharing 💯💯
Blitzer Beetle is by far such a better drive than the Aqroshot, it’s a great buggy, I think we will switch the wheels on the Aqroshot 👍

Jeez! You guys were out in a hurricane running the RCs around!! Chief Engineer should have just unzipped his coat and he could have flown over to it much faster! LOL! I 100% agree the tries on these are only for decoration only and are basically useless. The kit should have come with the Blitzer Beetle tires on it and it would have done much better. It would have looked cooler too! I am very happy to know that the Chief Engineer was not lost to the sea and neither was the body shell!!
Yes e nearly lost both to the global trash vortex. It was a bit grim out there, but we do what we can for footage. Completely agree this should have blitzer wheels with it, as the ones it comes with are papp! 🤣😂👍

I've never been on a beach as windy as Talacre! We stayed there in 2022 for a rugby tour at Bethesda, and lost a rugby ball on the beach. Blown away so fast, none of us could catch it. Such a stunning beach though.
I've been thinking about an Aqroshot as a friend keeps going on about his. Looked like fun in the sand!! I might have to get one now. 😅
Oof yes it’s a tad blustery at that beach, I guess that ball has washed up in Liverpool or Fiji now!
If you do go for an Aqroshot I would recommend getting some Blitzer wheels for it, as this would increase the fun greatly! 👍

Ha the Chief Engineer got a bit of a workout there 🤣 Anyway I'm sure others have said that you need Blitzer tyres on this and then it will be epic, even with a fast brushless set. Worth having those road tyres for tarmac although they aren't even very good on that. Glad you caught the body shell 😁👍👍
Yeah I think work is needed and not just on the old cardio! I think we will pop the blitzer wheels on this going forward or look for larger paddles 🤔👍

I think Blitzer wheels are the best choice for this in honesty. We need to pack a flask from now on, and dry socks 🤣😂👍
What would it drive like with a drift gyro in it.
I guess it would depend on surface but it sounds like a really fun experiment. Leave it with me 🤔👍

He used a stiff brush and a towel for most of it but I think maybe a compressor is on the want list for the new year 🤔👍

Down Under we CAN get those tyres working, by putting them on a 4wd car, and using it on the tarmac/concrete in the middle of a hot sunny summer's day, when the road/driveway/carpark etc surface temperature is 65C+, after a few burnouts to get the heat into them, they almost drive in a straight line...😂 almost....
I didn't think it was possible to run that slow with 100km/hr wind assistance. Come on Chief Engineer lift your game ! :D

Not a bad beach run for a car that was meant to be a stadium truck. Wonder how it’d do with some sand paddles
I think if we get some paddles for it then it would really throw some sand up. We will have to see what we can find out there 🤔👍

I’m not sure but I had to take my cap off and stash it in fear that would be lost to the sea also 😂👍
HPI Jumpshot SC Flux V2 for Christmas. Love you guys but watching this is depressing in 2023 used to love Tamiya but now after playing with other brands and what you get for the money by the time you have paid for bearings and oil filled shocks that should come as standard in 2023 is it worth it?
I think it has its place, and Tamiya have the nostalgia market cornered. I’ve heard that you can get other brands though 🤣😂👍
Your Wild One would hook up waaay better on that wet compressed sand. So would a bagel.
The Wild One would have done well if it was behaving, but then I’d have had to clean it. I wonder if bagels would fit on the Aaron wheels 🤔👍
