I work with many Indian people here in Australia and we get along very well. We share a common sense of humor. We may have many cultural differences but I find Indian people will laugh a lot. The best thing is that there is a lot of things to laugh about Australians and Indians so as long as it's not meant to be nasty all is good. as an honest to god Australian I can say that I personally am not in any way offended what so ever. I can see it as a joke and have a good laugh, we normally refer to it as 'takin the piss' which means that we insult it or be mean about it in a joking way.
