I lived in England for 8 years. I've seen the Trooping of the Colours, and Diana on the Balcony with the family. I cried when she died, also the Queen and the Queen Mum. I flew back for 9 days to see a concert at Wembley Arena and visit all the old places I loved, I think I've seen every opening of Parliament for many years because of the history. I'm not alone. I've spent a lot of money on trips to London, seeing history 1st hand. I can't believe you people hate the Royals. They make the history of your country exciting
I love the royal family ... but honestly...this is the 21st century....I understand tradition...but this is still back in the 1700's...can't you do the exact same thing without all the wigs and robes...and talking in normal English...I mean your accents alone will keep it official.... that cannot be comfortable...those wigs have to be hot and itchy.
The point of tradition is to uphold and remind of one's history. No it can't be done without. What does your country's traditional clothing look like. Do you know, or have you never seen it worn by anyone because of people like-minded to you?
