Why am I just now seeing this masterpiece? Props to MTV 2 for at least airing it at some point for you to tape it.
MTV Classic airs this regularly, but I enjoy the old school MTV title card in this version.

Classic non-synth New Wave. I had this album when I was 15; Lene Lovich and Nina Hagen also as good. Oh and Berlin and Missing Persons too. HEEEEEEY

@@gogoyubari366 exactly the synth drone effect is throughout the song (rising and falling in volume) and is rather Eno esque- then we have the touches of descending scale patterns on the synth peppered throughout.
