Love what they are doing with the maps and additions. One issue that's kind of annoying is the perks that drop look like C4. Nothing serious but could make an adjustment there.

Been liking Fortune's Keep. Really brings out the parkour and movement. Plenty of ways to get rid of roof campers. It definitely gets tough by circle 3, when there is 8-9 teams left with 27-35 people left. I feel like it's lead to more strategic rotational endings.
the only problem is the caverns shadows, its way too dark in there
The map is well made, but there's more and more nz41s on high grounds, and it's a plague for infighting because everyone can control that gun. Rebirth is still king but Keep has a chance depending on how the gameplay evolves.
thats only in lower kd lobbies from my experience.. when i queue solo fill with 2.5kd the game is nearly over when resurgence closes.

I don't usualy watch these because in the past I didn't think they added much value watching people as bad as me making mistakes. But in this video I learned several different things that were awesome to see. Didn't know you could pick up ground loot gas masks that were never touched, loved how he held the angle in the "Cinnamon Roll"(that's what I call the round staircase tower). I also loved seeing someone run the Ram-7, was my favorite gun back in early Verdansk days. And he worked the gas to a T. I'm about to go search your videos for more of these on highly skilled players to see what else I can pick up. Thanks!

Would love to see a video calling out to Activision for some preventative measures to how many players instantly (if not as soon as they die) back out of Battle Royale matches leaving their team outnumbered. I find that I’m the last man remaining in game when I play quads, trios, or duos with randoms within the first couple of minutes. Not as terrible when it happens in duos, but hard for a player of my level to stand a chance alone versus a team of 4.
Aside from when people leave due to a party invite, I would love to see them implement a counter to the problem by simply making those who back out within a certain time frame unable to queue into a new match for say 10 minutes. I doubt we’ll ever see anything like that, but one could always hope.
Perhaps there could be another solution, but I think that’s a big part of why people don’t play Caldera as much when they don’t have a group of friends to run it with.
I hope they allow spectators to view loadouts of the person they're spectating. Something like a toggleable UI maybe?

Every time I play rebirth Island or Fortune's keep, it feels like plunder, where if you pull of a win in Caldera, my heart is racing. The small maps play casual like plunder, a win is not so meaningfull for me. That being said I feel they put in more effort in map design, where Caldera feels slapped together nothing really seems to belong where it is. I just wish they would create a new big map with the lessons they've learned from Verdansk + Caldera, a mix of them seems to be great.
you are right about that but i prefer close encounters and sadly in Caldera there"s too little.
When me and the squad are doing bad in caldera we jump on fortunes/rebirth to get our morale up by getting a top1 then we go back to caldera
@@jimmytran5971 Yeah I feel that, we aren't the best squad but just have fun, rebirth is just more time gaming, some might die 6 or 7 times for 3 kills, but at least are playing not spectating getting rolled over trying to regain. Also on the small maps teamplay is less relevant, with 1 staying alive all is good.

I play on ps5 with crossplay off, there aren't enough players in Caldera for to join a game.
My friends and I have been playing FK over RI. I feel like FK does have a lot of verticality to it but it's balanced out by the amount of cover provided to help get away if needed giving more opportunities to recover and rechal if you want.
What an interesting endgame
Verdansk will always be my number one map but Fortune's Keep is the first time I have enjoyed Resurgence as I mainly am a BR player.

Fortune's Keep has been consistently fun. I've been enjoying the rooftop combat and the sheer amount of way to get high ground. Rebirth is a solid 2nd and I'm definitely in the missing Verdansk camp. Didn't know how good we had it lol
Definitely a fun map. The fact that most of the buildings can be climbed or parkored gives a lot of outplay possibilities. Still very annoying to get 3 or 4 stacked when you split but no more than rebirth. You also can play slow for the win if that’s your style. Good video man :)
The stacking is so annoying in ressurgence. I don't understand the purpose of holding hands in a respawn-enabled game mode. Even though JGOD says there's/was stacking in Caldera and Verdansk, it's way less than in ressurgence.
Stacking is a made up issue by people who don’t know how to be a team.

I opened a door recently to someone in corner with an RPG and someone in the other corner with a shotgun and they both blasted me simultaneously. After checking their heartbeat monitor 100 times

I like rebirth a lot JGOD but also play caldera a lot with friends great video!
New map allows for different rotations, outplays - far more diverse than rebirth. That's so one dimensional.
Those rotations and plays from Lucky were fire, especially the mines and PDS gas play
I play both Rebirth and FK:extreme with more players it’s fun, I like how FK has more layers of verticality sometimes it’s a little bit annoying when you get jumped on but that’s how the map is, where Rebirth is more of an linear experience… but I like there is a option now to choose a smaller map you like or feel like playing.

I followed JGOD and many others for a long time. It's always great to be updated on everything in COD WZ. I enjoyed it more when we all had to learn about the weapon ourselves. You stuck to a weapon because it felt great and you played with confidence and not over thinking. Now, it's like you get killed alot and it's like back to the youtube streamer to see what he or she recommends. Not cool I guess. I hate to be that person with the negative comment but it's the truth.
Fortunes keep mainly what I've been playing. It's a versatile map, and very fun in my opinion. I like caldera too though. As far as FK vs RI, FK takes the cake. I think the people that prefer rebirth are typically lower skill level players. I miss veransk, but storage town in caldera helps a little for some nostalgic gameplay.
Regarding the campiness: most people are oblivious. Someone moving through the entire map, pausing when they hear a noise, and killing a guy because of the audio detection, gets called a camper by the majority of players (bots). They assume the person was just waiting there the whole time when in reality many good people are going to stop and get that audio and use it to their advantage...

I go back and forth between Rebith and Fortunes Keep. They both really good. I have no complaints about Fortunes.
I love Fortunes Keep, probably my favorite map right now. I think depending on my feeling and play style at the time, this and Verdansk would be my 2 favorite so far
Im only playing fortune’s keep lately, to learn and improve. The map is fun and has a lot of movement/jump spots to differentiate the game. Also I can’t remember of a time where the circle was half outside the map. But there’s the problem that everyone is still learning the map and they are all no more than 2 inches from each other or camping a corner… the free loadouts are also incredibly stupid, sometimes you’re at cemetery and your loadout spawns at the winery
Fortunes keep is insane! So many jump spots, all the different levels, great long range spots, absolutely the best map in warzone today.
The map and the smoothness of this gameplay looks so good. When l play on base PS4 l can see fawk all! The detail and smoothness of the gameplay is nothing like this!
I’m really liking fortunes keep! There are so many different routes to get up or down that it punishes those who are camping all the time.
My most favorite thing in Warzone is when enemies think they got me down but forget that I can revive myself. LOLOL!
I am enjoying the matches and play patterns of Fortunes Keep more than the other two maps. Rebirth is definitely second. Ease of access to cover with tons of verticality to the play area makes both of those a winner. One being newer and brighter than the other helps separate the two very distinctively. Caldera is the biggest disappointment, because a new map could have been so good. There's just too many areas with no cover. They even tried to add serpentine as a fix for the terrible design and that did not help as much as adding trees with a diameter larger than a player would have.

We usually jump between all the maps mostly rebirth but we switch it up through out the night. It's the best thing about having multiple options changing things up in one night.
I’ve been loving fortunes keep! At first I hated it, but after playing for a while and changing my strategy I’ve been doing very well! You gotta play it like a fast paced BR map, not like rebirth
I love Fortune's Keep. Usually play BR Quads 90% of the time but now play FK like 90% of the time and my remaining is BR. I haven't touched Rebirth much at all since FK released.
I wouldn’t mind any of the maps if it wasn’t for bad visibility. In black ops 4 and CoD mobile, operators have red dots on their shoulders which makes it very clear where they are. Why can’t they implement that in every COD moving forward?

Me and my squad are only running fortunes keep. So many wins on it. Love the different terrain.
For me, fortunes keep is the best map on Warzone full stop. Its got plenty of cover, different levels, plenty of POIs. None of the other maps (even Verdansk) had this.
Lootable perks are one of my favorite things ever to come to warzone.

I actually enjoy doing the spectating thing live it is really fun also what are your top underrated guns in the game for the keep because I’ve been trying to use other guys just to see how good they are in some of our really bad
Really surprised at how much I like Fortune's Keep. Unlike Caldera, it's actually playable for me. My favorite mode is Rebirth SOLOS, but I like Solos on Keep as well. I'm not a fan of only having Quads on Rebirth. Too many people hold hands and stack. I prefer playing solos in the resurgence mode on the smaller maps.

Definitely like rebirth more. The part I didn't like about rebirth is that in some places it's just verticallity on top of verticallity and they made fourtunes keep even more so

Fortunes keep is a FPS/Parkour sim. Not a fan.
We (my squad) have been exclusively playing Fortunes Keep. When Caldera came out, we actually stopped playing COD altogether after playing for 3/4 times a week since it came out. Caldera is just that bad, and it was a horrendous downgrade from Verdansk. And we were never really fans of rebirth, maybe because it was too small at the time. When fortunes keep came out, we tried it, and now we're back in full time. Couldn't be happier. I DO think the elevation on the map makes it incredibly hard to rotate from lower areas, because everyone spends all game camping the high elevation areas, but the pace of play is still super fast and realllllly fun.
Edit: I also think they need to do some work on the map still. There are a lot of places I get stuck trying to get between objects, or through windows, or under those grape vine things in winery, I've lost a LOT of fights because of stuff like that on this map where you just try to go through somewhere and can't get through.

We usually do a few rounds of fortunes keep to warm up, then play caldera. Sometimes a round or two of fk to end the night. I personally like the new map, but I prefer caldera for it being the "real" br experience.
Having fun with the new map but they need to put more friendly load out some more stores

I'm warming up to fortunes keep, definitely needs some tuning like you said. I've been going back to rebirth a bit because I pretty much only play with randoms and I play better on Rebirth which I'm more familiar with. I don't play Calder at all.
Fortune's Keep is legit. You have to constantly be checking corners and training your eyes to memorize patterns/textures and corners which will make you a better player here. The only caveat, is not trying and running blindly hoping to do better like most noobs.

I prefer the slower pace of Caldera. I don’t get as many wins on the bigger maps but I like the down time between engagements to mentally reset/relax. -A 2.20KD player

feel the same way with the down times. i like the down time, but if i feel like the longer I go, the colder my hands get weakening my next engagement and then I typically just get outgunned. i downplay my gun skill way too much as well and it hurts when Im not pushing. I usually just have to get lucky and hope my first challenge after a downtime is someone that is bad or a bot. theres never a middle ground for me.
Imo missing verdansk is all nostalgia. Sun was op, climbing the rocks was a serious pain, visibility in buildings was worse than in factory on caldera. Not to mention that downtown was the biggest camper's paradise, that I've seen in a video game. Caldera's main issues are bushes and that's it
I enjoy the map it's fun and something different to play for a break, Rebirth is still good too but overall I'm mainly playing Fortune's 👍

Ive been playing a good mix of both fortunes keep and rebirth. I really enjoy solos so mostly playing fortunes keep! The lobbies on rebirth have super sweaty!
idk about that one chief... rebirth seems to be a lot of kinda iffy players after the map split. Way easier imo.

Rebirth lobbys are full of botts now and feels like a ghost town now compared to FK. Yeah their maybe a few sweeties but not full squads.
Currently what our group does is we start on either Rebirth or Fortune's and once we get a win we switch maps.
Rebirth is better than fortunes keep. Love the simplicity of rebirth for a fast experience for everyone.
I’ve been playing Keep & Rebirth mostly. I like caldera but my lobbies there are usually 1.3+ & it’s exhausting

i used to play Rebirth island everyday, now that fortunes keep is in, i play maybe once or twice a week. i know you can still play rebirth but its strictly squads. The reason why i dont like fortunes keep is because it feels too much like a BR map. I enjoyed playing Rebirth because you can see most edges of the map standing top prison. Thats how Resurgence should be.

Fortunes keep did feel campy the first few days, but it’s not anymore campy than rebirth at its current state. Pretty even between close and long range battles. Except fortunes keep provides more access to escape gun fights

Honestly.. to answer your question, just been playing Caldera. I personally prefer the big map over both resurgence maps. I used to love rebirth, I still enjoy once in awhile but I'll stick with Caldera for now

I'm with JGod on the comment about Fortune's Keep being campy. I have simply not seen that much camping on the map yet. Much less campy than the other in my experience so far, but that may just be since players haven't figured out all of the really effective camping spots just yet.
I think the staircases are bad or something. I feel like I have to find all the jump spots or I’m gonna die going up a spiral staircase lol. But maybe that’s every map and I just know the jump spots on rebirth. Still pretty fun
I prefer fortunes keeps, the map fits my play-style better, I’m more of an ultra aggressive player and on F.K, there’s a lot of things around the map so it’s easy to find cover and split a team up when I’m out numbered
I have switched to Fortunes Keep, Rebirth Island just feels stale to me now. Love the new map.
With streamer mode I wonder all the time now 😂
