You can do ombre and ombre is difficult to get but with this powders from the eyeshadow you get the perfect gradient in such an easy way!! If you add on the tacky top coat another layer of powder the colour is even stronger!

Omg finally a video using eye shadow on nails, I’ve literally searched everywhere for this particular kind of video, I can’t afford those different nail gels and dips powders so thank you for this
Did you happen to try this yet I was curious how it worked out bc I want to try as well but I also wanted to share that you don't always have to get pigments for nails for example I got a really cool set of mica powders 60 colors for 9.99 and they work great and you can also use them for other things if you do art or anything but I love my mica powders for nails they have so many different choices like the chameleon powders and they are SO much cheaper than regular pigment powders and they work exactly the same.. I hope that helps 💙

I have a palette of metallic eyeshadow, bought in B&M a couple of years ago only rarely used. They all work really well straight on nails and on clear nail polish. I used the to do ombre graduated colour. I changed my colour twice in one day. Reminds me of when I was a teenager we used to do our nails with a highlighter pen and put clear polish on top.
I love paintong my nails and I rarely rare makeup, but yet I have TONS of eyeshadows... now I've got a use for them! Gonna test some out tonight lol

I just discovered this yesterday and I love it so much. It truly is a hack and very fun to do. I have a Bratz eyeshadow palette that I got 2 years ago and it's perfect for all those crazy colors. And yes, definitely a money saver as well. I'd say the amount of eyeshadow you use versus what you would have used in polish is definitely a better ratio.

Love it! I very rarely use makeup, and own very little, so I hunted on amazon and found some shimmery loose eyeshadow powders with this in mind...or perhaps playing with some alcohol and a binder of some sort to make ink or paint that can be used on nails. I feel like a mad scientist!

omg. I barely use dark shimmery eyeshadows so they barely get touched in my palettes. But now I can make use of them doing this!!!!! I also have a ton of cheap eyeshadows that are poor quality on the eyes but i bet will be amazing on the nail. THANK YOU!

oooh great. I'm pretty new to doing gel manicures and was just wondering today if I was able to do this or if it has to be pure pigment. I have one of those giant old multi coloured palettes too. excellent.

Yes not all Eyeshadows work by trying to apply using the method you would need to apply chrome powders but you can rub into tacky layer of gel polish. Thank for watching xoxo

I know more about nails rather than makeup :D I don't know what the pink small eyeshadow looking stuff are but the colours looks amazing after being applied on the nail, they look like they could make a great gradient, even one color alone like you did looks absolutely beautiful

😱omg this is freaking cool I have tons of beatiful eyeshadow that is old but I have never thrown it out. It's now inside my Halloween collection box. Its my SugarPill eyeshadow so it's bomb ass bright eyeshadow. I'm so gonna try this. I use DnD gel polishes but after watching this I'm about to have some SugarPill polish 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️

IndoEireannGirl Hi I'm so sorry I just realised I didn't answer your question I could have sworn I did ☺️ you can use normal polish but to get a smooth finish like you do when using gel polish I would suggest using transfer foil glue allow it to dry and then you get a tacky layer. Xoxo
What I have used is the glue used for the regular foils. Just have to let it dry. Takes a long time if you use a thick coat. It surprises me I have yet to see that trick on CZcams yet. You can use the gold foil glue you can get from places like Walmart and michael’s.
So it goes Base, base color, tacky glue,(be 100%sure it’s dry) , pigment, (if you want you can do a second pass with the glue) 2nd pass with pigment, and top coat.

I was wondering if I could use the soft pastel sticks that I use for my adult coloring? I could scrape the sides to make it a powder.

Yes you totally should it's a great way to get so many colours cheaply. Plus if you wanted your nails to match your eyes and be totally colour co-ordinated you could def do that this way. 😂 Thanks for watching xoxo

Oh my gosh me too I got a set of mica powders for 9.99 and it came with 60 beautiful colors and they work exactly the same as pigment powders
Does it stay ok ok with the gel bas and top? It doesn't affect it? What type would you say worked best ? As iv got some models own eye powders that iv never worn as don't like the colours for my eyes, but I might give it a go on my nails! See what happens! Thanks for the tip, iv got loads of old shimmer eye shadow that again never been used! So il be busy trying this lol out lol, need some swatches to try all the colours lol !
