Coach Staley is by far the best thing to happen in South Carolina in a while. She deserves every penny of her contract and some.
She has been my shero since I was a young girl playing bball, watching her in the Olympics with the USA women’s bball poster hanging in my room! This was so inspiring! Thank you for having her on! 🙏🏽
Yesss!!!
I love Dawn!❤
It’s tournament time. I’m booking for Vegas. GO GET IT, Dawn!!❤👍
Wow. Coach Dawn Staley. A warrior for women, for others. A hero in our time. Loved this interview.
Love Dawn Staley for so many reasons. Thank you for what you give to the game and your community.
She deserves all of the success she’s getting. I hope she keeps doing great things for Women’s basketball. 👍🏾
Dawn Staley is a winner on all levels and a very beautiful one at that
I've been a fan and an admirer of Coach Staley since the Olympics and the beginning of the WNBA
So proud of Dawn! She's (literally) going places. She is truly some SC pride!
Dawn is a ROCKSTAR
Oh I like her she's cool I like that tradition of giving the nets or the piece of the net to different coaches inclusive of black men coaches and to black journalists. It shows that she recognizes that everybody is important in the field of sports.
GREAT INTERVIEW, TREVOR LAUGHTER IS PRICELESS, COACH STALEY YOU ROCKS 👍
True Philly gyrl!!!❤❤ I love ❤️ Coach Staley!!
She's expansive and humble even in her justified low key brag she's earned it all and she's giving back so cool😊
Beautiful Baby!!!!!..... SHE IS ONE OF THE BEST WITH HER HARD WORK AND DEDICATION.. AS A PLAYER NOW A COACH... CHAMPIONSHIP COACH!!!!... TWICE!!!!.... YOU GO COACH!!!💯😎👍💢🏀🏆
I wanted this interview to be longer!!
Dawn Staley, the greatest basketball person of all time.
She is incredible
so awesome! I'm showing her coaching documentary to one of the students I work with in the 10th grade. Wants to play ball but doesn't go to class!
She deserves whatever she’s asking for. She wins more than her male counterpart at SC, and the reality is the women’s basketball team is the athletic face of that university. No one gives a rip about Gamecock football and men’s basketball. In a Russian accent: Pay that woman her money!
Look at you Coach!!! Awesome! So proud!
Congratulations ♥️
She makes you want to feel pride for yourself. I love that.
Luv ya dawn congrats. Spurs up!!
Dawn!!...👏🏾💪🏾
Awww champ is so adorable
GREATNESS!!!!🏆🏆🏆
👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥 She is everything.
Love her...even though I am a Clemson Alum! lol
WOW!
She's awesome.🥰😉
I love her eyebrows. I too have an eyebrow that is a little pointier than the other. This gives me the confidence to just embrace that.
With respect, Ms. Staley, as a dog trainer, your comment that training dogs is not like training people: you're right. Training dogs is way easier. Dogs actually listen.
Dog trainers agree.
Lol !!✌
Facts my sis owns a dog as well so that's very true
People not listening.... is why training dogs gets difficult. The dog goes home & owner undermines all training. Smh
She is great
Love Her! Black journalists represent!
#salute ❤
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Been had a bag 💼 🔥
Louis Vuitton Dawn 🐐!
nice
The best who ever did it
Philly stand up!
Philly sit down! shut up!
How can there be equal pay in sports if there are different revenue amounts for men's sports vs. women's sports????
It's called... Title IX.
@@BethBruch in College yes, pro's no...
Why doesnt NCAA pay athletes students who generate all those billion dollars?
@@ernestmwape we already know the answer to that quesiton.
Probably comes down to percentages at that point
All my respekt to all the women athlets out there and all of their coaches. They coud reach way more, if they were more supported, similar how the male atheletes are supported. In some parts of sports, women not even reached their peak yet.
Dont forget about the female teams that are light years ahead in there game compared to the males. Example is the US woman soccer team who actually won the world cup. (They deserved to be paid as much, if not more for bringing trophies back to the US).
@@deansheets Women's Olympics soccer teams, play and get beat by men's high school teams. Same with Olympic tennis players.
The problem with this is that the WNBA loses $10,000,000.00 a year. The league is a business that has failed. You don't normally expect a raise when your business is hemorrhaging millions of dollars a year.
Provide proof.
@@tananario not my job. I looked it up do your own leg work. Lazy.
@@jimkirk4357 If you come with such a bold and unsubstantiated statement, then the burden of truth behind such a statement is absolutely on you, otherwise your words are just like a bucket with a hole in the bottom, it holds no water.
@@mactrek2 NBA commissioner Adam Silver told the Associated Press that the WNBA generated income of $60 million with operating expenses totaling $70 million in 2018. You do the math.
You get what you work for and how much revenue you make your employer. No more. No less.
Equal qualifications: Equal pay.
I don't disagree with equal payment, but baby yall don't sell out stadiums like the men teams. You want equal pay you have to increase exposure and attract fans in bigger numbers.

Is she uncomfortable? She’s NOT EVEN facing him … the cameras can’t pick her up like they want .
I guess she loves her profile
♥️🖤💛💜💙💚🧡
:)
Fighting for equal pay, is like fighting for unicorns. It's a problem that doesn't exist, based on every respected and prominent economist - including every woman - who has studied the subject.
Equal pay in sports...Most female sports don't produce the revenue as most male sports..
She looks part Asian. Is she?
I stand by my statement.
If the WNBA lowered their rims to 9 ft, the ratings would skyrocket. The only thing that's truly missing in their league that's affecting ratings, which in turn affects revenue and the salary cap.... is one player dunking on another. Imagine a player in game posterizing another player. But the pride of these women are preventing this from happening.
I say just try it and see what happens
So she wants to work less but equal pay
When did you hear her say that???? Smh
Great Coach, But I Find It Difficult To Follow Her Thought Process, Perhaps Mnemonics, Sorry.
No need to be sorry. Not your fault if she's talking beyond your level of understanding 😉
Sorry you can’t understand simple English.

We are doing the same work in third world countries and get paid dollar a day and these feminists don't talk about it
