- This is a review of Pioneer CDJ 100s dj player functions.
Video was created when i decided to sell them, for purpose of showing everything works perfectly even after 10 years at that point.
Great cdj players btw, i had them for 4 years, using intensively, without a single issue, but unfortunately, now are outdated.

No scratch, no BPM counter, no cue point banks, no waveforms, no quantize, no beat indicators, no nuthin'. Just the jog, tempo control and your ears. Good luck! That's how it was done way back.

There is a BPM counter if you had the mixer, the DJM-500 and DJM-300S both have it.
If u can dj properly with these u are the best
These were my first CDJs when I first transitioned from vinyl. They were solid workhorses.
The 100s was the first player to dethrone the Denon players at the clubs.

The 100 was the first player with shock resistance and big buffer. I also owned the 500 mk1 before the 100 and those were really bad and expensive.

Tell you what, you can see why vinyl turntables were still the industry standard well into the 2000's despite the introduction of CDJs... These things look like toys xD They don't look user-friendly at all, by the looks of it you can't even scratch!!!

Legendary gear. Just bought myself 2 of those and gonna rock my house like a fucking Hardwell :D I spent 50$ for a pair, lol :D hope they work.

they where perfect exept for the fact they didn't show BPM count. beatmatching took whay too long i had to write bpm's on my cd's and brought a calculator to know by how much to adjust lol

Hey man. I found a pair of these for 200 bucks. I already have 2000s and a 900 but am looking for a 3rd and 4th CDJ. Would you recommend?

+electronicdude no i wouldnt. They are... Or were the cheapest of the cheap and do NOT include; mp3 support. Hotcues. Looping or any other function on todays cdj. Only reason people liked them back in the day was due to the effects and the fact that it was cheap. Or alteast thats my perspective based on personal experience

You need Cd-R disks

Clueless about CDJs. Does this work with MP3 files like the newer models? Like can I plug in a USB? Also would it work with a more recent program like Traktor or Serato??
Nick S. no mate, it does not work with Mp3 files, its like the first CDJ works with .wav cd's. I have 2 myself so.
