I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

Glad that you talked about Mashiho. In one of TREASURE's t-talk video, Mashiho said he learned, trained and mastered several types of dance, as well as acrobatics. Aside from being one of the vocals of the group, he's definitely one of the best dancers of the group.
not all superb dancers know how to sing amazingly. mashiho is really one of a kind.
Mashiho did almost every dance genre since he was in Japan (as early as 5 years old). He joined several dance classes and competitions before joining YG. He even did ballet before.
I think one thing people forget is that ASAHI actually only started to dance two months before YGTB. (Part of why he and Jaehyuk are close is cause Asahi would join TREASURE B for dance classes during YGTB).
He and JAEHYUK have improved IMMENSELY for the past two years between YGTB and Debut. And I really enjoy seeing how their natural styles have developed. Asahi has an elegance to his movements while Jaehyuk has a calm yet powerful swag.
MASHIHO's versatility is largely due to the fact that he was trained in multiple different genres from Dance, Ballet, breakdance and Hiphop. I'm curious if he did any modern dance tho looking at his style that would be minimal I'm guessing. But imo out of all the members his control over details from fingers to extensions is superb. Something about how he and also DOYOUNG moves that makes the movements feel bigger and than they are physically.
I think one thing TREASURE is trained for was endurance and stamina. I really hope the boys take their gym seriously because it might be what will help them long term in terms of making sure their bodies keep at these choreos for a long amount of time. They'll need the extra protection they can get from training their muscles to absorb the strain and stress.
Lastly, though I love seeing them perform, I think they need a long break after MY TREASURE promotions. The past 6 months have been soon hectic for them and a good number of them are still young. I hope they take a good break real soon!
They will have a long rest, their ROOKIE PROMOTION is done, they are gonne be part of the Scheduled list of ARTISTS, so we will have a 1/2 comebacks a year,... Excited for TMAP S2

In one of their T-talk episode Mashiho said he learned all or different dances since he was a kid, if i remember it clearly he said since he was 5? Also he's well known for his acrobatic skills and this was shown during their survival show.

What I like about mashiho's dancing style is he's so detailed even on the tip of his fingers it's like he knows theres a limitation in movements I'm not a dancer but it's so amazing to see someone like him dance with discipline like theres more to dancing you want to know..

center jaehyuk really just makes me feel things one bc he's so good and he really attracts your attention and two bc he's improved so much since we first saw him back in ygtb!!! the fact that he's danced for the least amount of time out of all of them and is among the better dancers in treasure i just UEHFJDBJHBCJKHBCJKHBJK
When I first saw Boy I fell in love with him. He slayed his center so much that people took notice of him. I love that he gained a lot of fans knowing him since YGTB.

honestly im glad they didn't do the jump/lift in this performance because even without it the choreography plus having to sing live and everything it is already super exhausting and it shows in their movements especially in the chorus move of mmm some of the boys are stumbling already so the jump would have been even more dangerous than usual bc i highly doubt they would have the strength for it, and the fact that its a recorded performance is even worse because they probably had to repeat the entire thing multiple times in a row

Mashiho had a couple of dance genre background and ballet was one of it. He started dancing since he was 5. Maybe that's the reason his moves are sharp, groovy and fluid. I always love watching his fancam. It's always an experience.

The different genres of dance that Mashi learned right from when he is just 5 years old can see the way he dances now. He is like Jinu of Winner, detailed and so precise with the choreo. But unlike Jinu, Mashi can be graceful and fluid especially if it depends upon the needs of the choreo. If you will watch Mashi's fancam, you can see how great a dancer he is. Thats also the reason why I really enjoyed his fancam out of all the members.

Their golden disk award performance is sooo good too. They changed a lot of choreography and its in different arrangement too.

I'm expecting them to do the BOY high jump stunt & MMM stunt too since MAMA. For me it quite added extra factor or impact to their whole choreo but on the other hand, i'm really glad that Mashiho's BACK FLIP finally made a successful comeback & it even trended that night which made Treasure fans happy, proud & emotional at the same time.
P.S. It was Jeongwoo who assisted Mashiho. I prefer fluidity or fluid movements over masculinity too & it's not also a basis of one's gender either.

i may be biased but i also do really think that the intro was so impactful partly because of doyoung center. he's such an amazing dancer and this particular routine showed it. he only had like 15 seconds center time but his impact was massive. his execution was insane
YG groups always love to change their arrangements and choreography during award season.. and Jeff is right that its good that the company is allowing them to show their talents, both satisfying for the artists and the audience too..❤️

Just like yedam said in their tmap or tmi or 3min. (Sorry I didn't remember where he said it because we have a lot of content that time) that mashi start to learn to dance when he was five years old so he mastered all of genres in dancing even he can Acrobat too. Over half of his he was dancing so I think that's why mashi is one of the best dancer in Treasure. You will love his vocal, personality and cuteness but you will more love him when he is dancing.

Teumes, let TREASURE show their full potential. They are youn and very eager and have so much potential. Soon, when they can finally relax, they can all chill like TOP and just go up that stage like its a runway and will still slay. I really appreciate Treasure and the team behind the group for giving different song medleys and choreos for the boys during their award show performances. Like they had to learn like 2 or 3 versions of I Love You alone. Like damn, they really went above and beyond for them. Kudos to the boys and their team at YG.

Yoshi does the scorpion which was popularized by another iconic synchronized Dance idol group.... INFINITE in BTD(before the dawn) at the end of the bridge. I was able to learn it back when I was in college. Damn I feel old.
