If you make shallow cuts on the skin side, all the way across, before sauté, they won’t curl like that. Hope that helps!

that's what we used when we visited family in norway and boiled crabs.
i remember in hunter xhunter that during the hunter exam they needded to bring sushi to one of the examinators, and the idea was to hunt an new flawor for the sushi, i can see masaru being a hunter of that type in that setting
From the video I watched previously about Spotted Reef Crab, you actually ate the smaller one so the ciguatera toxin that they accumulate are smaller than larger one.

Here on the east coast of the US, we have stone crabs which you’re only allowed to take one claw from. It can be tricky taking a claw from a live and very angry crab. Love your videos by the way, reminds me a bit of childhood

It's weird how sometimes the most delicious/expensive foods are a no-no to the locals. 🤔 I'm from Finland, and from a region where eating mushrooms 🍄🟫 is frowned upon. But the same mushrooms 🍄🟫 fetch a hefty price when picked and sold to, say, Japan! 😅😅

Ive been watching this guy for a while now and I admire the Japanese. Why is it that everything that comes out of the sea, these guys want to eat raw (sashimi)? Its unreal.
Ogni volta in cui in un video che parli di acqua pazza mi fai sentire un assoluto ignorante poiché, anche essendo italiano, non ho idea di come si cucini la zuppa all'acqua pazza 😂, ma i risotti si, se riesci a tradurre questo commento e capire che cazzo ho scritto che ti dico la mia ricetta preferita per un delizioso risotto con frutti di mare!
Non credo che sia un'acqua pazza tradizionale, comunque questo è uno dei pochi che mangerei volentieri

do the claws grow back like the "Stone Crab"? In Florida harvesters only keep the claw & throw the live crab back into the sea (restauraunts hit the claw with a wood mallet to crack them before serving)
