yourjoking Right I'm white and from southern Louisiana, many northern white families do engage in mild and distant incest, it literally is kind of just the truth. However, southern louisianan (baton rouge, New Orleans, etc)families tend to avoid that through extreme diversity of people's and cultures. Here In baton rouge, everyone's a little mixed, and not just like the people in the northern US claim; here it is quite hard to find anyone who's more than 80% anything, and chances are that if you're 100% white, your family may have engaged in incest. This specifically happened with some, like the Le Blanc and guidry families.

Ignored "Hot Beef"(aka Italian) sandwiches in Chicago because "that was what tourists eat", travels as tourist to tout the "Po-boy". Kudos, dum-dum.

As someone born in Metarie Louisiana i can also vouch for how common quality french bread is in the greater New Orleans area, Literally everywhere and everyone eats it. Its just a thing and no one thinks about it haha

As a port city New Orleans is home
so many cultures and cultural blends.
An amazing place to be. The distinct
diversity from one district to another
makes a trolley ride a cultural time tunnel.

Had a Po Boy while I was in New Orleans a few years ago and that bread is so fucking good. It's kind of rough and it's takes a little effort to tear off a bite, but it's also very chewy and delicious. 10/fucking10

A lot of people are like it's just a sandwich but its what it represents. Food can unite people from different cultures. It's really nice to see people willing to try food from another culture and be inspired by it. I still remember my friends being disgusted or afraid of pho or stir fried noodles. Also I remember when I would go to Viet restaurants there would only be Vietnamese customers and now its diverse.

Wtf I know tons of people from chicago that were raised on Hot Italian Beefs. A majority of people don't know what it is too. I feel like everyone knows what a Po' Boy is that's the real tourist food. I've seen po Boy's everywhere it's not just in Louisiana...
