Shaq had huge hands and he was tall. It was a lot more difficult for him. However, he should have practiced and found a way. He was a pro.
Kenny Dase Shaq had something like a 80-90% free throw shooting in practice but in games he sucked.

Met this legend in the park I go shoot around with, told me to look him up that he is the king of free throws... I was like ok cool not thinking that it was recent bc my boy brings his walker out to shoot... needless to say he is the man and so cool man got a ton of knowledge and love for the game and is still doing his thing now at 77... he truly is a inspiration

AWESOME
I played center in HS. I was the one that shot technical foul shots (88%). After I saw MJ shoot a free throw with his eyes closed, I started doing that in games when I was playing in leagues when I got older - just to mess with the guy guarding me.
Stuart is the MAN. 1, for practicing that hard at his age. 2, for the Rick Barry style shot that always makes me smile. I can still shoot 80% from the line, but that's with both eyes open.
Fantastic. id love to see anybody NBA or collegiate do that.
