    I made a vibrating parts tumbler to remove rust on small parts for my café racer. Works so awesome , it even polishes. This will be handy for all of my custom motorcycle café and bobber projects. Easy DIY project, similar professional vibratory tumblers cost hundreds

    My wife reclaimed mine. If you run the sander whilst cooking a cake, you can vibrate all the air bubbles out of the cake mix as it cooks. I've been using the last two cakes as tyres on my mini bike for a few months and they have hardly worn! Really dense mix... This is probably the best technical CZcams channel out there!!

    Changing the polarity of the sander wiring makes it operate in reverse, if you want to re-apply the rust for a rat project later on.

I originally used it for stones but have since used it for car parts, as well. Far quieter, too. ;)

    • @ppszabihun
      @ppszabihun Před 3 měsíci

      The parts Will become more shiny with baking Soda instead of the normal blasting media ? How long we need to keep inside the rusty parts in there? Thanks your advices ! 😅

    • @srednadahlberg
      @srednadahlberg Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@ppszabihun Not more shiny, water blasting is better for shine. How long depends on the surface. If the pars are just dirtym it takes maybe 15 minutes. If they have corrosion, longer, maybe an hour.
      I use an old orbital sander, 12000 rpm and 2.1 mm oscillation. Works great! The only trouble is keeping the media contained. The lid tends to pop off. I use an old metal paint can.

    • @ppszabihun
      @ppszabihun Před 3 měsíci

      @@srednadahlberg thanks, I also tried out but the Sander overheated and the plastic housing melted, so I Think if somebody want to use this for longer better to buy a machine wich is planned for this jobb.
