3PAW - Aesculus Paryiflora - V48Hours Short Film Entry Christchurch

This is our entry in the 2012 V48Hours furious filmmaking competition. The short film was written, shot and edited (including all graphical elements and VFX) within a strict 48 hour timeframe. Our assigned genre was 'Based on Urban Legend', and we had to include the following:
Team Introduction
Character - Nicky Brick
Prop - A leaf
Line of Dialogue - 'I did that'
Camera Shot - Slo-mo
We handed our short film in with 15 minutes to spare! Unfortunately we did not make it through to the finals, and had technical issues at our screening... but the whole process represented a damn good experience (albeit a challenging one - I personally spent 24 hours straight in post-production). As for filmmaking on overdrive... bring on next year!
