Not all. Some are right pricks. But those who are nice are people who entered the order - literally - in good faith, but often are forced to eliminate romantic affection from their existence, especially those living in the Circle. Which is quite sad.

@@TaliZorah1 I love Cullen but I always felt like Alistair had more character. Sometimes it feels like Cullen doesn't have any weaknesses or dislikes, while Alistair can openly dislike you if you make the wrong choices.
@@Lara-rr1vz I was surprised when Callen was angry about suppressing the templars. Also, I remember there is a dialog when he disrespects the protagonist's choice to be a templar. But I agree that it'd be great to get more reactions, not only positive, from him.
I want the Warden in a future DA game so badly! Ugh! And even though I didn't leave Alistait in the Fade (my Hawke stayed back, but she can handle it, she's not dead) I really want to see a female Warden who romanced Alistair confronting an Inquisitor who did. My Inquy is a tall, muscular man but he would shrink to a little ant before my Warden. I mean, she would put the Inquy in a coma, and then get herself in the Fade looking for her Alistair, but I want to see that scene. I can always write some fan-fic, come to think of it...
Not my “main” world state, but I do have one world state where my Elven Mage romanced Alistair and stayed Grey Wardens together. Then my Inquisitor sacrificed Alistair in the Fade. I always imagine my Warden went on a hunt for Venatori and other Tevinter Magisters. Or maybe she started hunting anyone involved. Maybe she blamed the Grey Wardens. Or she would confront the Inquisitor herself. Never knew which one I wanted.
Alistiar is a fool, so my warden, why she would greive deeply, would probably blame him most of all. Hatred and vengence has been a path she walked, and does not want to walk again. Having said this, if she and the Inquisitor did meet she would never, ever be friendly with her.
Sure am glad that my Hawke was an asshole who stabbed his abomination boyfriend to death, because that made it a LOT easier choose between him and this sweet, sweet boy.
It sucks that Queen Warden play through a get cheaped out of seeing Alistair, just one awkward walk in where he unknowningly kicks his mother out of his kingdom, pretty damn harshly honestly.

Or you can double down on the tragedy and have the warden sacrifice themself to the Archdemon, keep Alistair a warden, and then sacrifice Alistair in the Fade because he is still committed to his warden. Which is what I did. I hurts but I like it.
wait a minute why are all Templars just romantic sad boys
Well, _Meredith_ wasn't a particularly romantic sadboi, but I guess there are always outliers...
The Templar anthem is Closer by the chainsmokers and nobody can convince me otherwise
