Is that Paul Newman?
Aren't SOME fats like oils, which contain omega-6, good and necessary?
Healthy fats are good and necessary but best consumed in their whole form - as in walnuts, flax seeds, avocados, chia seeds, almond etc. The oils of these foods (avocado oil, seeds oils) are concentrated fats that sometimes use chemicals in the refining process, tend to be inflammatory, and regardless are missing the other parts the whole food that make them valuable as food is medicine.
A blood pressure of 112 over 70 from a plant-based diet? Sounds not realistic because I am eating vegan and my pressure is 120 over 80 and sometimes higher.
Yes - she took no meds and was quite strict about the "no oil" part of it - only whole plant-based foods. She also incorporated dark leafy greens multiple times a day. She sent me that photo after 3 months of doing the Jumpstart program.
