No matter what's going on in my life, I feel better when listening to Waltz of the Flowers.

I never understood why I was so into classical music, despite never taking the time to listen to it. I realized that it was due to the old Barbie movies and shows like Tom and Jerry, that introduced me to classical music. Everything made sense afterwards. I absolutely love classical music.

I cannot forget Slavic March played by unknown citizens on a street in Sankt Petersburg in 1990. I was much impressed that all the players teared. The next day, I knew that the conductor was Rostropovich. BTW, I am happy to learn that Tchaikovsky was honored by a national funeral in spite that he was not a royal family but a commoner. Russian people really love him for centuries.

Today I was feeling so bored.... then I suddenly got a recommended video and I clicked it. Oh God!! It's so beautiful and lovely. All my boredom vanished just as the heard the first composition. Tchaikovsky was a genius and I feel he is even better than Bach and Mozart. Thanks to him that we are able to feel happy even in our worst situations. Greetings from India.

Живя в современном мире, люди утратили самое главное - чувство страха и инстинкт самосохранения. Музыка гениального Петра Ильича Чайковского, буквально каждое произведение композитора вселяет в современного человека столь забытое и важное первобытное чувство.
От па де де мне хочется плакать, встаёт ком в горле, но при этом я счастлива как никогда - навеваются воспоминания из детства. Как я благодарна что Чайковский написал столько трогающих произведений.
Вот и я сижу в офисе и еле сдерживаю слезы...Ком в горле и как-будто дыхание остановилось...и так каждый раз.

While I don’t listen to metal as much as i do Hard and Punk Rock, I feel you. There are times when i will listen to Green Day and Tchaikovsky or Vivaldi in the same day.

If this is the best classical mix you have ever heard then you must just really like Tchaikovsky. Because this is just all of his most popular work, not a lot of thought needed to go into selecting it, unless it was finding the best recordings. I love Tchaikovsky but I feel like it can't be the best classical compilation without including at least a few other composers. He is good, but he isn't THAT good.
