Beautiful. You are one of the few who does not rush with this piece and actually takes time playing it.
It's one of Chopin's last pieces. I don't think he wanted it to be fast, especially since it's in minor key. Thanks!
@@gregniemczuk I agree a lot. Thank you so much for playing it for us!
Hands down the best interpretation of this piece i've heard. It's my favourite chopin piece.
Wow. Wonderful, thanks!
You’re the best Chopin pianist
Wow. Thank you!!!
I am currently learning it, as it is one of the easiest by Chopin.
Interpretation is what matters. Interpretation is never easy.
This is the joy of creation, William.
Can’t stop replaying this piece, so addictive 😮
That's awesome!
I thought you had the best interpretation of mazurkas. Now I know you also have the best interpretation of waltz. Everything sounds so natural.
I think the secret is in your last sentence. Chopin must be JUST natural!
Thank you so much
How beautiful this is ...
I love Chopin's music.
How wonderful! I love your deep-into the-keys sound, the touch, the colours...seems so simple (Chopin never is!) and yet so deeply meaningful. Thank you so much for sharing, my personal world feels better because of this.Thank you.
Thank you Alessandra!
Ależ cudownie zagrane. Genialny utwór w genialnym wykonaniu ❤ Właśnie zacząłem się uczyć grać ten utwór i będzie to mój pierwszy utwór Chopina. A to wszystko dzięki Pana filmom i analizom na CZcams. Po Pana wspaniałej relacji z wiosennej trasy koncertowej w Norwegii w ubiegłym roku, postanowiłem spełnić marzenie z dzieciństwa i nabyłem pianino. Bardzo dziękuję za inspirację Maestro!
Wspaniale!!! Czuję radość i dumę. Życzę powodzenia i trzymam kciuki!!!
thank you for sharing your version! it's so hard to find recordings of world class pianists playing this beautiful piece
It's so beautifully played❣️🙌🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
PERFECT .. 👏👏👏👍🎹❤️ .. I like this slow tempo 👍 .. thanks for sharing such a beautiful performance ❤️👍
Thank you very much!
So simple and delicate. Lovely. ❤
never listen that when you are sad .. because chopin went in a sad dream ! lot of thought when we heard it ! very great !!
Superb performance, Mr Greg. Fulfilled with emotions. I am sure, Chopin would be proud to hear this performance.
Thank you! This piano inspired me!
So sweet ❤
Maravilha ❤
Another vote for the Tempo! And I love that Bosendorfer tone too. Thanks Greg.
Superb performance!
This Master piece of Chopin has so many emotions. This piece always remind me of my beautiful past days with family where we had a small house in a small village and everybody used to live the life to the fullest. In the rat race to earn money and materialism, everything seems to be fading away.
Beautiful ❤️!
Excellent
Beautiful!,
I love your tempo in this piece, I get inspired to keep learning the piano when I see your videos of you playing :D Thank you so much!
Thank you! It makes me very happy
I second this comment. An excellent performance of a beautiful song that is within the abilities of a student always inspires improvement. My continued thanks.
@@wayne3077 thank you!
Meraviglioso, bravo❤
Uwielbiam ten walc.
You are a great musician
Thanks!
Sublime interpretation. Bravo, maestro!
Bravo! Absolutely incredible performance!
Dear Greg, I recently 'discovered' you and learned a lot from you in a short time. Your analyzes are fantastic, as is this performance of a seemingly simple walz…. I am grateful for all your contributions and the time you put into it. The modesty you bring to this waltz does not detract from the piece, on the contrary. It's like dancing in a dream, bringing back sweet memories. And so this tempo fits perfectly there! Bravo from Austria, Paul Manche 💫🇦🇹
Thank you so much dear Paul! I really appreciate your words. Thank you for watching my videos!
Beautifull, you did very wel, Mr. Greg. I'm sure Chopin would be super proud to hear the performance ❤❤
Thank you!!!
Love your analysis and interpretation of this piece. Bring it to live ❤
Mój ulubiony walc . Dziękuję 😢😊❤
Bel canto … Pięknie Pan śpiewa na fortepianie… ♥️
Dziękuję! To mój priorytet!
Magnificent, what a touching piece.
Excellent❤❤❤
SO WONDERFUL AS ALWAYS, MAESTRO!!!!! Thank you for my favourite Chopin's Waltz and for an excellent delightful performance, congratulations for over 16.200 subscribers to your great channel, you deserve more and more..., I've added this video to my public playlists called "My Favourite Classical Music" and "Mr.Grzegorz Niemczuk", again my best regards, have a happy sunny warm new week. Beautiful!!!!!!
Pięknie ❤
Tears and fireworks 🎇🎆....beautiful!!!!
Amazing interpretation as always! Love this tempo.
A ten z op 34 no 2 w Pana wykonaniu wręcz zjawiskowy.

Rozkołysanym Walcem A minor

bez opamiętania
za woalem zmysłów obezwładniających
wciąż widzę
obraz twojej twarzy
wraca i wraca uparcie
O miłości niespełniona!

You are the best, thank you for posting this video and….. thank so much for you tutorials of Chopin’ works
Thanks !
Amazing 👏👏👏
I love the rubato here. brilliant.
Dear Greg! I'll never tired to thank you for your Ganon! After starting 30' every day Ganon in Jan 23 I have NEw hands now and continue progressing. I get much more pleasure playing now. My piano teacher was rather surprised: where from are these new professional (!) hands!? (I'm not professional pianist😇😇😇)
I am soooo happy!!!!!
I like it
Beautiful!
아름다워요~~~
Maestro! One of my beloved pieces, that I'm trying to learn.Thank you for sharing! ❤
Absolutely Beautiful 😍😍😍
such a tender recording, love it :)
Very nice! I like the regularity of tempo, with just the right amount of rubato. Also, you don't try and make this waltz into something that it isn't. Sometimes I've fallen into the trap of trying to make it more dramatic than the notes really suggest.
This waltz is truly a test of one's skill as a pianist and performer. Can you make something captivating out of such a simple, unassuming piece? There's no technical fireworks or moments of dramatic showmanship to wow the audience with like the etudes or other more complex works. Just a beautiful, relatively straightforward melody, the regular pulse of the waltz, and the repetition of the theme + variations. A wonderful challenge
Thank you. Yes, absolutely! Very challenging piece. Chopin, at the end of his life, went back to simplicity. But it's a complex simplicity, very demanding and profound!
One of my favourite pieces and I absolutely love your interpretation
Thank you Kate!
@@gregniemczuk I must say that I usually prefer faster versions, but somehow your interpretation feels just right for this piece - a bit melancholic, tender, almost nostalgic (which I was never able to hear together in other versions I like). So yeah, I have nothing, but praise here. I'm really glad that I came across your channel!)
@@kate-jt4bz thank you!
Замечательно! Пошлю всем моим ученикам! Огромное спасибо 😊 ❤
Yay
Oooh, beloved Bösendorfer, a really noble brand, so rich with that round, full bass, always love Chopin on it, wonder what he would have thought about the brand. And I love how relaxed and simple you played the Waltz. One of the few Chopin pieces that I can play, but not like that!
I'm also going to play this in a concert, hopefully I could play this way too, congratulations. 👏👏👏👏
Good luck!
@@gregniemczukThank you
One of the best songs ever you played so well and you inspired me to learn it!😀😀
Thank you
As a starter this is the first music piece that I try playing on piano. It is absolutely stunning to hear how it should sound. I love how he plays with emotions and with no rush. I will try to copy the sensation of this performance to improve my sense of music 😊
Wonderful!!! Good luck ! I'm so happy you like it!
Czy Pianista zaczarował nastrój?
Czy Walc Chopinem niebiańskim
płynie?
Czy wszystko razem wyczarowane
spełnione natchnieniem
wypełnia Duszę?
Czy wyśpiewane nad wodami
faluje oddechem?
Czy subtelnością dotyku dłoni
twoich dłoni
schodzi w krainę Ciszy?
I
odlatuje gdzie wszechwładna
króluje ponad czasem

If it was not for the one arpeggio at 0:40, this would be my favourite song.
Hmm no dsaf Henry quotes in the comment section, how strange, I guess I’ll fix that, the world is going to change and you have me to thank for it.
Give it time. one day, YOU WILL KNOW THE JOY OF CREATION.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about Henry is a character from the game dayshift at Freddy’s (dsaf) and waltz in a minor is his theme.
I WAS LOOKING FOR MY FELLOW DSAF FANS
@@C4LVINTH3A55IST woh another one! welcome to the comments section!
@@couchdoggo I literally search up waltz in a minor to find my fellow dsaf fans.

Isn't it must natural way of Playing it?
was this an encore? finally one of the pieces us mortals can play :)
No no, I recorded it especially for you guys!
Thank you! This is my favorite waltz.
No piano sounds like Bosendorfer! Beautiful
wow such a nice song I hope this doesn’t get put in a fnaf fan game called DSaF for a guy named Henry Miller (also ur so good at playing paino)

Amazing performance, been following your series of all Chopin's work and wanted to thank you for the effort and deep analysis. Was wondering if you plan to publish an analysis on the La ci darem la mano Variations Op. 2, I'm thinking of learning that piece and your analysis would certainly help.
Thanks again!
Thank you!!! Omg no...not for now... It's a piece for piano and orchestra so that's why it was not on the project. But who knows...maybe next year.....
Muzyczna poezja.
Beautiful performance! Is this Bösendorfer your personal piano?
Thank you! Unfortunately not. It's in the concert hall in Skien, Norway

What do you have as your personal instrument, if you don’t mind my asking?

How do you pronounce Gymnopiede by Sati
I noticed this part 0:29 other artists play it without trill but when I look up for an original manuscript it has trill written in there and I was wondering why others don’t play trill?
Well..... It's a posthumous piece so it might have some versions. My urtext has a trill

Interesting interpretation considering it's a waltz.
Thanks!
Chopin wrote good songs, but aren’t my ones better??
Help this sounds like Henry millers theme
