Pleasure Beach may not be my 1st or 2nd favourite park in the UK anymore, but it still holds a special place in my heart as I’m sure it does for a lot of people!

I'm so glad you had a good day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, we were also in Blackpool the same day and the weather came out beautiful!
This is one of the closest parks to me and I love going and I am very excited to return. Very excited to get some more Icon merch.
Also, I wish Towers sold more merch online like the Pleasure Beach do. I would definitely buy more merch overall if I could get stuff in the closed season or just when I can’t visit.

I love Blackpool Pleasure Beach! Wish the Pleasure Beach in Great Yarmouth had these rides as they are so close to home for me and Blackpool is the other side of the country 🥲
Because it was mentioned in yesterdays video, I had to go find your Happy Valley video from 2017. Yes, interesting park but the video with your friend was a lot of fun!! You dancing up and down the queue had me in stitches!! So fun and funny!! I very much see why you have no plans to ever go back though. Glad you two made it a fun day though!

Grand National was always my favourite. As an only child with parents who hated rollercoasters I had to ride on my own but it didn’t stop me every year 😂. I miss the log flume, the water chute and Tokaydo Express, all my best memories.

Hope you two had such a good time at Blackpool pleasure beach I’ve been there before 2 times I have I like the Pepsi max ride and the Wallace and Gromit ride it was really good keep up the good work 😊
It was great to get on the parks classics such as Grand National, Big Dipper, Nickelodeon Streak and the Ghost Train and yes they were jolty but they are classics and not as bad as Infusion omg that thing makes Kumali and Odyessy look smooth at butter!
I do wish they would of kept southport though. Was a really good day years ago. Valhalla one of my favourite dark rides ever. I love the wallas and gromit one but the potential for that ride is massive. Good vid again guys and have a brilliant time 😁
Awww just missed you guys by a day! It was my first time at Pleasure Beach and I came all the way from Belgium! Hopefully, I get to meet you another time because you seem like such warm and great people! 🙌🏻

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is still easily in the top 5 Themeparks in the UK. In order 1. Alton Towers 2. Thorpe Park 3. Chessington 4. Pleasure Beach 5. Legoland 6. Drayton Manor 7. Paultons Park 8. Flamingo land 9. Oakwood 10. Adventure Island Southend. Universal Studios Bedford would likely become No.1 If it's ever built, let's see what happens.
Paultons and Drayton are surely better than legoland

It's not hard though as there aren't really that many theme parks in the UK. BPB was good in the 90s and early 2000s but it's really gone downhill the past few seasons.
Hello Charlotte and Shawn thank you for a positive, informative and entertaining vlog. We love BPB and look forward to seeing a new ride/s soon. At the moment there appears to be a lot of negativity about BPB on other vlogs but surely we should be supporting the history of the park. If BPB can get some new rides it will surely bring in new visitors. Icon is still our number one coaster and the Big One is a great fun ride. Thank you again for all your hard work.

Honestly I know we all have our own opinion but the Enzo seats on icon just makes this one of my most amazing rides I have been on the only ride I feel the need to hold on at a certain point but I love being spun round on the launch it's so unnerving I love it

I love the pleasurebeach! I live a mile away so im a regular to the park been around 6 times this season so far, I love the atmosphere there.

Icon is still my number one in the UK I can't wait to ride Hyperia, I guess my num one and two in the country will both be MACK because im sure Hyperia will be my number one. still Zadra is my overall number one, I cannot wait to get back on it next week :) and cannot wait for the first rmc to come to England!! I think they should use the big one structure and rmc should convert it and take back the record of the tallest, we can dream lol, hope you both had a lovely day at my local park.

Remember going her as a kid and first time on a rollercoaster was revelation made me hate rollercoasters idk why love them now thanks to the smiler. Would love to return and ride a of these ride. Great vlog once again🎉

Hey shawn, I’m feeling pretty sick. I’ve been coughing non-stop and I’ve been shivering when I’m not even cold. But hopefully, watching one of you amazing vlogs and having a nice rest would make me feel better. Hope it wasn’t tipping it down at pleasure beach like it was on opening day. Top tip to avoid issues with your phone scanning and e ticket go to either guest services or the photo shop at Wallace and Gromit they will scan your e ticket and print off a ticket that you use on the ride turnstiles. Saves your battery and rarely fails to scan!

I went last week on an off-peak day. Operations were great, I felt.
Big one had slowest ops due to one train.
Ghost train was amazing and also did alice etc but audio kept cutting out. Also the wallace ride broke down. My first ever evacuation.
Its a shame about river caves albeit.
Tell yer what, that place looks pretty tidy from what I remember. You cant beat the grand national. Held in with a coat hanger.

I had my first ever visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach on Wednesday and had a great day with it not been too bussy and didnt wait any longer than 40 minutes for the rides which was Icon and most were 15 to 25 minutes! I was gutted not to get on the big one but saftey is paramount and 213ft up in the air it will have been windier than it felt!
I went on Wednesday, gutted i didn’t go Thursday now would’ve loved to meet you guys. But totally agree with the park tickets. Don’t understand why you still need to scan, everyone has paid to get in, just doesn’t make sense 🤔

I can't believe i missed you guys again by a day! Been so close to meeting you with just been a path of meeting you at Alton Towers last year on Roller Coaster day, been at Alton Towers the same day as you in March and then you visiting both Flamingo Land and Blackpool Pleasure Beach a day after me! Hopefully i will get to meet you guys soon for a photo!

Completely agree about the scanning, I went the week after half term with school. We had wristbands and it was still a nightmare. I could only just scan my own wristband never mind the kids scanning theirs and the turnstiles are a nightmare for SEN kid’s especially if visually impaired. The operators ended up just pressing the button to let us through every time, it was completely pointless.
Ghost train was fine that day but must have been running less trains as it was quiet midweek. We went on the rugrats log flume in November with our son (he was 18 months at the time so we are training him to love rides!) which I did not realise soaked you because I’d never done it before. It’s our closest park at an hour away from us. Can’t believe the river caves and ice blast are not open still. Glad we did ice blast in November I still think it’s a great ride. Was Dora open when you went? It was shut the week after half term so I’ve still not done it. Still never done revolution so might have a go at that eventually.

I must admit that this is very surprising. You'd think that up in Lancashire, which is a very deprived county overall (and Blackpool in particular is one of the most deprived areas of Europe), that cash would be preferred!

Shawn i have to agree regarding valhalla it is still my number 1 water ride in the world however i sorely miss the old sound track and is in my top 3 for worst theme park changes along with the ultimate and mouse removals :(
The of soundtrack was absolutely fantastic!
When I was a kid around 2010, we used to go to pleasure beach every October for Halloween. Never once was the big one closed for high winds etc and I recall it being very windy. To the point where you could see the lift hill move in the queue line. Have restrictions gotten tighter over the years regarding wind or were we just lucky for it not to be closed every year?
I’d say it was more lucky, as it depends on the wind speed and also direction!
Was here last Saturday, we had a great day…

I am so jealous I tried going recently by coach and it was a nightmare it took almost 10 hours to get they the rain and wind was horrible and my friend was sick with gallstones we was staying just next to the park you could literally hear and see Valhalla but I would of felt horrible dragging my friend around unwell in the weather so decided against it even though I really wanted to go
After 3 rides on Icon and 1 ride on Enso i know have a new number 1 coaster beating Wickerman! My first ever ride on Icon was on the back row which was amazing then i did Enso which was insane and well worth £15 for the experience! I then did a mid train ride later that day and them a front row ride which just confirmed its number 1 spot in my coaster rankings!

Just back recently and did Icon 5 times... brilliant coaster.... unfortunately did Grand National twice,that is proper rough as feck now... really uncomfortable

If wild mouse was still in the park where would you rank it amongst the other coasters? It was always my favourite and would still be 1st or 2nd for me, the forces you got on that coaster considering it looks pretty tame from off ride where insane.
Definitely up there as one of the best. We miss it so much!

Actually we got a pretty good deal, 4 nights at the big blue for a family of 5 for £630 in August. Breakfast and dinner included plus 1 day park entry and all the upcharges in the park.
