really? well, the no-fan part was the part of what i liked about it. i mean im always on the lookout for good cheap heating/cooking solutions especially in case of an infrastructure fallout. IMO having a need for a fan in a design is a letdown because if the power goes down, you're also out of heat... i know, not in this design, but i in general dislike any electric help with heating appliances.
BUT i really like your firebox design!
Personally if i could, i'd take a wood-burning double bell masonry heater and install this as an option. masonry is awesome since it sucks up the heat and releases is over time. maybe is you adjust the inflow pipe so it heats up the incoming oil, you would get better combustion and less fuel needed?
Anyways, keep up the good work! :)

+bluemoondiadochi - Although Free is always good. But when Air introduce to the burner, it helps with better burn and also it's a lot cleaner burn as well and you can get it really hot by doing so. Other than that, if you just gravity feed it, it takes a while to heat up and smokes a lot, if your Chimney Air changes... Like when a big Wind blow by or on a Windy day. This is from my experience and trough extensive testing during making mine. It was really hard to get Clean burn without using blowing Air.

Porque no necesita el blower? Creo que así trabajaría mejor
