This is lovely. Great job. Do you listen to Jazz? I am tryin to learn this on piano, so far I'm pretty bad. It occured to me that you can do this as a duet with a gospel or soul singer and jazz trio of piano, upright bass, and drums. (Also maybe trumpet or Sax) maybe it could 17 minutes. Probably a crazy idea.

@@SophieHanson I don't know that Im the one to create it, my hope is a pro like you can do it! I must have given you the mistaken impression that In a musician lol! Writing is my usual form of creative expression. Piano is just a fun hobby so far, I only picked it up in July. I saw Herbie Hancock and started to get into Jazz pianists and then decided to try it on a whim. It's impossible for me to play Jazz songs, so I've learned some folk, r&b, and pop.
also if you'd like to listen to more Jazz, here are a few suggestions: 1. Dat Dere by Art Blakely & Messengers (my favorite song atm) 2. Moanin by Art Blakely 3. This Here by Bobby Timmons 4. Watermelon Man (original) by Herbie Hancock 5. Cover of The Times They Are A Changin by Herbie and Lisa Hannigan (Irish folk singer)
