Enjoy Salif Keita's singing, the amazing Kora (the 21-string double-bridge-harp-lute built from a large calabash, used extensively in West Africa) player, the incredible young drummer, the amazing young lady giving us a taste of Mandinka dancing accompanied by the energetic young Djembe (rope-tuned skin-covered goblet drum) player. The rich culture and oral traditions from Mali (inhabited since 10,000 BC, when the Sahara was fertile and rich).
