PFL Kitties get Upgraded Shelter thanks to Village of Animal Friends

Detroit Pets For Life colony got a big shelter upgrade today. We want to thank some special people who’re always there for the animals!
Thank you Dave for working many weekends transforming some massive crates into super weatherized and insulated cozy kitty condos just for this colony.
Thank you Orion Township Public Library for donating the crates and Bill for picking them up!
Thank you Steve, Paul, Michael, Danielle, Bob and Kristen for spending your Sunday lifting, moving, placing, and sometimes awkwardly struggling, to get these giants right where they needed to be for the cats.
Thank you to everyone who donates. For the last 7 years, you’ve been the behind the scenes Guardian Angles for these kitties. The colony’s been vetted, fixed, fed, sheltered and loved thanks to you and Kristen, Director of All About Animals Rescue's Pets For Life program.
Kristen immediately jumped in when their owner passed to make sure these kitties never miss a meal. It’s taken a couple years of just the right people wanting to adopt, but this once colony of 26 is now 13. And that’s despite the newcomers who know just the right place to come for care and a snip!
