Glucose feature seems to BE THERE!!! I just charged my new s88 and have just found an icon labeled “sugar” or something. I tapped it AND IT DOES GIVE YOU A GLUCOSE READING. When you are on the screen that shows the semicircle of icons on the left (like “heart rate,” “dialer”, “phone book”, “Facebook”, and all that stuff), Swipe upward along that arc. Many more icons will keep scrolling up. Keep going until the LAST ONE that looks like a drop of blood-It’s labeled “sugar”. I tapped it and it gave a glucose reading of 4.9, because I was NOT wearing the watch, so that’s low, as it couldn’t find blood😊. I was just trying to find the glucose thing. So a reading of 4.9 is reasonable because it translates to 88.2 mg/deciliter (always multiply 4.9-or what other reading - times 18 if you don’t like the reading in the units the watch gives, which is in units of mmol/L).

how can you be this stupid? how do you think a 15$ watch could measure anything other than your pulse through some flashing lights on the back? these things can only be read by analyzing blood...

Can you please tell how the blood glucose measuring to work? Thx.

I bought two of these for my brother and myself because of the glucose monitoring ability. The manual doesn’t list instructions for glucose. I thought I must have misunderstood the ad. Thank you for your post, I now know I wasn’t having a senior moment. 😊 Don’t buy it! There’s no way to get in touch with the manufacture☹️.

You do not have to have real blood-I have another watch like this and it gave a real glucose reading when I was was wearing it. I don’t know how the technology works, but it does. I once asked a registered nurse if these devices give readings comparable to actual blood tests and YES was the answer. I think your skin has to be slightly wet to provide better coupling to the watch’s sensor.

I said before to SWIPE UPWARD on the arc of icons (on the left) but I tried it again and it seems you must DRAG the icons up. [Later edit:] No, Don’t drag the icons-drag their labels! BTW, They call these icons “shortcuts.”
      --------
Update to my previous comments, as I’ve played and learned more things: The multicolored “flower” sort of icon lets you change the menu style. I like style 3 best because it lets me see labels clearly AND the icon of which function is currently ready to select. Now you can keep that set on glucose all the time. I’m staying with style 3 menu. To use that menu, you scroll thru the icons by swiping downward from the top to the center of the watch face.
ANOTHER thing I learned was how to SET THE TIME. Select the Settings icon (gear shape) and swiping upward SCROLLS down to Date and Time settings. (At first I didn’t even know it would scroll to reach other settings.)
FINALLY, the display was timing out so fast until I found out that “Backlight time” is what controls that. If they had called it “display time,” I’d have known right away what it was. You can set it for up to 3 minutes. Gives you more time to figure out what the H you‘re doing.

Connect the smartwatch to your phone from the application level, if that doesn't help, connect it to your phone's Bluetooth.

@@ChristopherRIdleyUK You are most welcome! I’m very glad for 2 reasons. First, that my post helped someone, because that was my intent-I know how frustrating I felt not knowing the answers, and wanted to provide relief to others. It’s too rare to find exact answers to things you look up on the Internet. Second I appreciate the feedback that it was of some assistance. Later, I learned that semicircle of icons is not the only menu choice, and also, when scrolling it (as I had directed) you should scroll on the text beside the icons, not on the icons themselves. It works better. (Hope things are better there in UK than they are here in USA, ‘specially for children.)
