    Zeroing thru your phone is even easier as u can measure the distance and make the adjustment in the phone and it’s bang on next shot

    Ive got more testing to do but so far looks like the ballistic calculator is doing good. Have got 243 and 223 zerod at 100m, had a fox with the 243 at 230m using the bc, had a rabbit since with the 223 at 216m, i know not big drops involved but 4-5". Shot standing using tripod so far enough considering. Next to try it on a 22lr where if successful will be a very valuable tool.
    For me the lrf box snd splash are a fair bit lower than the centre of reticle but i can see it on 3.5 and 7 mag, and just about on bottom of screen at 14, im ok with that, you get used to it and its a lot more convenient than using picatinny lrf external to the scope. I find it easier to range at say 7 mag anyway then zoom in further to shoot if needs be.
    *If i was being fussy, it would be nice to also have a user selectable stepped magnification group.
    *Could be possible in a firmware upgrade i suppose
    So i could choose likes of 3.5 - 7- 12 - 16 for example.

      Hi thanks for the comment good to hear bc the working well for you also. you can change the zoom to continuous or multiple that will be what your after.

    • @stephenoshea1166
      @stephenoshea1166 Před 5 měsíci

      @@TheNightVisionShow I know you can use continuous but i think it's a lot slower to magnify not that I've tried it much ... the 4 step range is good, I just thought if you could customise what those 4 steps were it could be a good upgrade.

    In the balistic calculation page for the 4k lrf you selected profile 2,im guessing this equivalent to profile B as selected when zeroing, .eg ,A=1 B=2 C=3 etc ?

      @TheNightVisionShow  Před měsícem

      no it relates to the active profile that is selected at the time. I just have mine set as profile A= bc page 1 profile B= bc page 2 just for ease and keep it simple

    • @TheNightVisionShow
      @TheNightVisionShow  Před 26 dny +1

      Hi the minimum distance for the LRF to measure is 10 m so would need to do your part on knowing hold over or under on said set up.

    I’ve got that scope on a sub12 Airgun currently. I’ve input data and BC is way off at short ranges (obvs LRF won’t work at less than 10m. My chrono FX is showing average of 229ms which it says is only 10.8 ft lb so suspect this is wrong (does an FX chrono work through barrel shroud?) Do you know if rise/drop can be input manually into the BC function. In other words you input a range of holdovers/unders to move the secondary ret to whatever the range is?

    • @TheNightVisionShow
      @TheNightVisionShow  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I have the same problem mine is way over to the right hand side which is ok on 3.5 mag but lost if you zoom in. I have to keep playing with zoom to ISE this function.
      At least with the Pards you could move the splash and then re plot the box in the scope screen.

    I,v got this on my sub 12, set at 30 yards, got all the ballistics in, perfect at anything under the 30 yards, down to 10 obviously, when I range out past 30 the second cross doesn’t move, just stays on point of aim, won’t move no matter what range I try, am I doing something wrong, cheers

      Yes, it gives me the second aim point under 30 yards, but if I range 45 or 55 for example, ballistic reading just stays in the middle of the normal cross air. Doesn’t give me the old over, very strange as it reads anything below my zero range down to 10 yards.
