So this is a sequel to my song Destabilize, set years after Sweetie Bot got run out of town and decided to live in the Everfree Forest. The mayor heard about disturbances caused by something in there and sent out 2 pones to hunt down whatever it was causing them. Ooooo~

I'm not a brony by any means. Know nothing about the show or any fanfictions, but Twitter led me to this series of songs, and they are produced better than most "professional" songs you hear mainstream. These songs are absolute fire and I enjoy them even not being a brony. Keep it up!

The composition of this music tells a whole story even without the lyrics and that's fuckin insane. The beginning literally GRIPS you and pulls you through to the end.

Literally everytime I hear this song, the story behind it gets clearer and more interesting. Stabilize pt 1 isn't my favorite music style, pt 3 is catchy but not so deep, and this one just blows away the competition for me. Amazing story and amazing lyrics.
Actually a big part of why I like this one so much more than part 3 is because part 3 doesn't make very much use of the conflict between Sweetie Bot's programming and her own will. This one complements the ideas behind the first one extremely well, showing that even years after she had to fight past her malicious programming, she's still confused and shocked that she's not what she thought she was. This struggle makes her a very interesting and very well developed character. Part 3 doesn't do that very well, though part 3 implies a returning of the malicious programming that has been at odds with her own will in part 1, so it's probably meant to be that way - part 3 has a strong theme of if: then: and other such programming language style things.
I disagree with the thoughts on part 3 - That one's my favorite because I imagine it entirely as an argument between the infiltrator personality and the combat personality. The fight aspect is just screaming to let it use force, whereas she isn't willing to call her old friends her enemies. It's completely her machine side saying "Look, if I did what they're doing, how could I not be your enemy?! Come on!"
I do agree that part 2 is phenomenal though and I have trouble deciding which of those two I like more.
@@CordialH Taking another listen to part 3, you are right - I can't quite understand the story that's going on there, but I can tell there's something much deeper than I originally thought. However I still stand by what I said about this one being by far my favorite and in my opinion it's still by far the deepest. Even now, years later, the story just gets more interesting each time I listen to it (I listened to it 2 times today and each time I've gotten a little more out of the story).
For example at 3:26 I always heard both parts of the lyrics as the internal struggle of Sweetie Bot as her self defense systems started up. But on my second listen today it clicked that the lyrics on the top are from the perspective of Applebloom and Scootaloo, and when I think of it that way it makes a LOT more sense.
Destabilize and "Lost In Data" are literally my favorite songs to listen to while making dnd characters

I gotta say that Destabilize is one of my favorite songs from you and it's perfect continuation to it. I like the whole concept of Sweetie Bot and her identity crysis portrayed in this song. Also I can't wait for the rest of Reimagine! :)

during the last part where she said "take your best shot" there was a flash and then came the part were her memory slowly faded away.

Year later, but she survived into Part 3 (Enemy Undefined), so I am not quite sure. :)

Not only does it rock, but I love the narrative and it paints such an amazing picture.
I like to think that Sweetie’s recurring statement “Take your best shot” speaks to 2 of her developments in this song.
First being her existential dread of realizing she’s a robot and her uncertainty of if she is a real person, and if she’s not then she thinks she doesn’t matter as much and would be better off dead.
Second is, if she does have any reason to live, it’s her friends that love her. And so if her friends don’t love her, she’s fine with them just ending her because she has nothing to go back to anyway.

Some include Starset, Linkin Park, RED, Bad Wolves, Motionless In White, Crown The Empire, Famous Last Words, Avenged Sevenfold, Breaking Benjamin, I Prevail, Escape The Fate, Ice Nine Kills, Skillet, Our Last Night, Thousand Foot Krutch, Three Days Grace, My Darkest Days, Nine Lashes, and more. However, after listening to this song, I guess I need to put these bands on the backburner for the month!

God damn this song is so freaking fire, the lyrics is so badass the actual melody is lit as well, and I love how it is both a mix between synth rock but a litte bit too heavy to just be rock imo. Either way this music hits my tingly spots in the right way. Keep it up PW! :D

While I may be sad when a show/story ends like one Sweetie Bot story I can’t get out of my head, Im also excited about finding a new story to read. What I realized when I started reading Sweetie Bot story’s is that if I continue reading at the rate I’m going, Im gonna have to work harder to find story’s that I’m able to enjoy reading.
and work harder is what I did, and it lead me to finding parts of this fandom I never would’ve found if I never bothered to look
