Worst part is I had a line with the breach off the dark ritual but I was to shocked to find it in my graveyard 😅

I love this game !!! It was awesome!! They are funny
yeah I had to take pauses during the editing just to laugh.
There may be a chance that the deck stays meta for longer than many assume, because it is a strong antimeta option against turbo/B.A.D. decks, that find in cEDH free real estate since forever. There is Rule of Law, and there is Slicer now.
Also I feel that it may fall off meta in casual games much easier since players tend to take emotional decisions, rather than efficient ones, and the deck is much about politics.
You can't disagree rationally with the Slicer player in a cEDH pod with competent players, when he says: "The removal is only needed by the person I declared I will be attacking, until that is you. And you not only are aware of how important it is to make so that other players remove things in your stead, but also! You can wait until I equip it to something so you can kill two birds with one stone with me!"
In cEDH Slicer is an aggro and a control staxy deck at the same time. In casual it can only be a sub optimal control voltron jank.
In my humble opinion Slicer is already stronger than Zur right now.

Temur Sabertooth was a win here, Cabal ritual -> wishclaw -> Dockside on 6 B floating -> 3 for Evolution and you have cat and dockside on the board with 3 treasures and B floating which is a win. Good game still
Can't tell if Slicer is good or if the opponents were just bad lol (or unlucky in one case) maybe a little bit of both 😅

I was mostly memeing and vroomin', but I actually saw the Jeeler win line a few turns before the game ended. I just didn't expect and then couldn't deal with the Jitte. Already committed my Wishclaw tutor to getting Derevi, so I had to try to jam something.

I am such a sucker for protean hulk, I keep on wanting to try it but I have yet to see a commander I like for that strategy yet
Dina, Soul Steeper is decent. She's a sac outlet, granted having to pay 1 but is also a two card combo with Exquisite Blood.

Did Slicer not get exiled when the player controlling it lost the game?
No, because the control effect came from the battlefield it just returns to the owner.
No, Slicer is a control-changing effect. When the player who gained control of him leaves, control reverts to Slicer's owner*. If slicer entered player under the control of an opponent, then he would be exiled (I believe Xantcha has received errata to work this way).
*Technically it reverts to the last person to control it, but since Slicer returns at end of turn before being lent out again, that will usually be the owner.
So for the final fortune turn:
Cabal rot > 5xB > wishlacw + activate for Dockside > SSG to cast dockside.
Have 'B' floating, get 7 treasures (gave wishclaw away).
Cast EE - 5 treasures > cast dualcaster > 2 treasures.
Grab Mayhem devil and ruthless technomancer > etb sac dualcaster for 2 treasures.
Have 4 treasures > reanimate dockside
> Make 7 treasures > sac 2 > Mayhem devil kills dockside > sac 2 more to reanimate dockside (ping 2 to anyone).
Loop dockside and win

I think it works, if i can remeber the cards discarded on the adnahs turn correctly.
Technomancer and ewit was both in graveyard making the ee kind of a trap keep from me. Otherwise this line would work

Slicer is effective if noone has creature removal. I'm not sure how effective it would be in a regular EDH pod that plays more removal spells
Slicer is busted if no one has creature removal. You have to kill it. This showcase what happens when you don't.
It’s exploiting a weakness in the meta, which is what competitive Magic is all about!
That's kinda what makes slicer good against meta decks....
I’ve played slicer in casual and it either gets removed constantly and you don’t get to play, or everyone else dies extremely quickly. The play pattern gets obnoxious very quickly and I wouldn’t recommend it in anything below high powered pods
@@cedhtvgameplay3974 I think it also plays into people's greed. They are they, "Hey I can attack others with this free creature for tons of commander damage. He really is a double edge sword
It’s good to see people enjoying a game of magic, but I’m not sure I like the way Slicer warps the game. To each their own…it’s definitely not for me. 🤙
A big thing tho is that you don't get to control what opponents will play vs you. You might face slicer in a game.
Also Pontus I believe you had the win on your turn 2. Post naus crack Petal for Tinder Wall, Crack tinder wall for 2 red. Exile simian spirit guide for 1 red, bringing us to 3 red. Cast cabal ritual with threshold giving us 5 black and 1 red left. Play wishclaw talisman with 3 black tutoring for breach. Cast breach with 1 black left. Recast lotus petal from your graveyard. Sack for any color and cast grinding station then recast lotus petal and loop it with grinding station and go from there
Can't cast cabal ritual with only red mana
there might have been a line before going to one life where i use 2 red to cast the talisman make a black use red floating and the black for cabal rit but i don't see the line from there.
I also had a line off the praetor's grasp if i had one more life where i do the before mentioned talisman line use 3 of the 5 black to grasp kevin for LED and then use the last 2 on wishclaw, cracking led for RRR use one to activate wishclaw and find breach
But all in all i was too low on resources

Worst naus ever, ("sadnaus, sadnaus") followed by, the not so good political arrangement that ended in, slice, and dice, situation! Lol, great win Mans, finally broke your losing streak!!
Stating your ideas about bluffing interaction/relying on known interaction, as the 4th player in cycle, on blue, with a remora, you are the one the interactive onus is upon.
Dude doesnt know how to bluff or play around revealed & concealed information.
"Ill throw the game" also indicates you have interaction that can be forced out of you. Unless you make a SPITE PLAY and lower your own win% to PUNISH another player- Which is expressly NOT CEDH. That is a casual play that would give you nothing in tournament.
INSTEAD, "I cant interact with that. Can anyone stop him?", works a lot better. You're not being aggressive- You're asking for help. You aren't threatening a CASUAL SPITE PLAY to influence future games (again, not a cEDH play) amongst the same subset of people, but requesting aid, and therefore forcing everyone into the game of potentially revealing vital information.

not suprised when you roasted them for not killing pontus, I've never seen Kevin in person but I've seen other members of sad nuas in a tournament at a lgs and they all lost in the first couple rounds.
Interesting… I wonder what event you’re referring to considering Kevin just won a 160 person cEDH tournament.

The Najeela player is legitimately just using casual spite plays. Please dont have people on WHO DO NOT PLAY COMPETITIVELY in supposed "cEDH" content.

For the record, I have watched every video on this channel and love your content, so apologies for not making my criticism more clear, it can also be frustrating to read that, I imagine.
