I believe the best and most proper way of finding out if those lava pits are really just a trap is to buy the dungeon lackey and make him jump down there first. :D
Commanding him to jump in would be karmic justice, but you could try asking him as the lackey. He told X he would answer certain questions and I think that such a query would be answered. Lackey might also bring fire resistance potion. I was listening to X's lackey run while at work so I don't recall if he tried asking.

@@Fimbulvetr2012 I feel like asking tango if its a trap, or hides treasure, or is an egg spot, is equivalent to just having a lackey in a run and saying "tell me all the locations of hidden Easter eggs in this level". It would not fall under " Asking questions within reason".
Or use Etho's method in DO1, where he still tries to win the run but if he thinks he can't survive it, he will explore and sacrifice himself to find secrets so that the shard won't go to waste.
Especially if clank is maxed and you think you can't get out, just jump straight in the lava pool😂

That egg run is so heart breaking! She was so close! 21 crowns would have been game changing!
Honestly surprised when she decided she had no chance after having found the two that she didn't consider stashing them in one of the chests or barrels back in the room she designed. Heck, she could have done that and then guilt-tripped the next runner to bring them back for her (or at least leave them there for her). And if not guilt-trip, perhaps bargained to split them in exchange for another runner bringing them out on her behalf.
she could have left them in the original ones but stashing them in any other chest/barrel is illegal. @@Getsugaru

@@Greeman999since Jev and Cub saw the stream, chances were they, or someone else would aim for it next time before Pearl gets there and gets Jump boost again.

Which one it was though... you might have to guess or check several of them, as he's doing a lot of decked out streams (for obvious reasons) and I don't remember exactly which one this run was in.
dont worry about posting only decked out content! I cant wait to see what you make in hermitcraft but these runs are still entertaining :D
Who would complain? The game basically just launched, there are multiple mysteries and challenges still to accomplish so naturally it's DO2 time. Break from building is also refreshing. Hopefully DO2 will in result prolong this season of Hermitcraft. Especially since most Hermits did or are planning some vacations to have a break. Fingers crossed for a long season 😊

That double egg run was insane! I've never wanted someone to win a game that badly. Feel bad for the lose streak, pearl, you were too OP in the earlier phase, the Decked Out gods thought you needed to be nerfed.

Decked Out 2 has single-handedly turned Doc length videos from the exception to the norm and I’m loving it.
In phase 2 you built up your deck, and in phase 3 you built up your dungeon knowledge. Now you're going into phase 4 with both a solid deck and solid map knowledge.
I know you didn't win much this week but honestly this is your funniest DO phase to date. better luck next week though!
It looked like your first run had none of your cards being played, only stumble cards were! You basically did a no-card run and survived!

i believe the dungeon was broken that day. tango had to shut it down for repairs thus the time skip between runs 1 and 2

Yeah Pearl, looks like you caught on towards the end of that first run, but none of your deck cards played. Only stumble cards did. Maybe if this bug occurs again, you could take the opportunity to check out one of the two lava pits upstairs since the run will be super low yield anyways. Keep rocking! Looking foward to more DO content and your base expansion.

in a dungeon lackey run, Tango has potions - maybe you can get a fire res one to explore the lava pits? Maybe they lead below the room into a corridor where the piston area is?
Unfortunately he doesn't carry fire res, only slowing, regen, and speed :(

Im so addicted to decked out I managed to rummage almost every single run compilation of the hermits as if its a drug 😭
Its been 3 weeks now, 3 phases, it makes me wonder, does anybody ever check Mumbo's best friend crown button again since DO2 was opened ? xD
He did in his episode yesterday, it was still fine. Not even on orange
It doesn't count down unless it's loaded and nobody hangs out in the shopping district anymore since the TCG got overtaken by DO2. Some people still camp it from time to time though.
I thought I was the only one who was worried about the button....from mumbo video it's doing fine....although I would like to see more of tcg updates.

These past few weeks have been basically full length unlimited decked out 2 movies from multiple hermits and I am loving every second of it! I never get tired of seeing the runs
AM Pearl is Best Peral, can picture you with energy drinks and coffee in front of your screen in pj's playing decked out non stop and cursing tango for ravanher placement! Love to see it in art! Awesome video pearl!

I love that max clank is a serious threat now. 1st 2 weeks hermits were just chillin getting all the loot and just get the artifact at the end and then easily leave. But now, they are getting punished by doing this strategy!
Berry healing tactic: if you’re in a safe spot, eat berries more slowly to regen health. Each berry can heal one heart. Not the most exciting, but def most effective. Saw Hypno explain this in his last vid. We still have tons of faith in you!! 🍻

Yes!! Pearl and Zed (and Etho ofc) are my favourite hermits, I hope they do more things together, be that Decked Out or other collaborations.

That penultimate run was so heartbreaking! You overcame so much, and it just barely wasn't enough. But it's still amazing how much you survived!
Possible trigger for Piston, maybe putting out candles in the room at the top of the stairs? Putting out candles can trigger redstone I believe. It's how Bdubs triggered the entrance to his towers basement
I dont think the piston does anything as of now, tango used to have plans for a stray in the ice pile that'd open with clank or hazard
Also, i dont think tango would encourage players to punch out candles because their needed to stop mob spawns in some places :)

You are the most interesting to watch play decked out, even when you lose. You are so thorough in your searches so we really get a good sense of the dungeon whereas everyone else is just running around. I love watching you play!

I am curious if there are secrets in the tnt room or in the frozen trees room that only bounding strides can reach. I have yet to see anyone check there, and my curiosity is killing me!

Yes, Tango changes the zoning from phase to phase. As you learned, the block zoning the Ravager into the TNT area for phase 2 were removed for phase 3.
Yes, there was something to be found in the TNT lake. It comes up into a little space behind the pirate ship (where you say "there is something behind that wall there" in your level 3 run). Zedaph found it but died on the way out.

I never rooted fpr anyone so hard as that egg run. I love how when someone has an amazing run you can see all the other hermits logging on to watch and cheer.
I’ve been noticing in a couple Hermit’s runs that the seems to be a path leading even deeper into the water in the depth charge room. I don’t believe any Hermit has explored it completely and it might lead to an Easter Egg.
It leads to level 2 next to the pirate ship, secret room. I think Hypno found it.
@@lucaque well, yeah, but I still haven’t seen a hermit dive all the way down. It’s pretty clear that it leads to Lv 2, but nobody has discovered what is at the end of it.

So proud of your runs this week Pearl! They didn't all turn out great, but you kept going into the dungeon looking for secrets and not looking for victory, and you succeeded on that front! I'm certain you'll have more luck in the coming phases

The amount I jumped when she ran out that room and it was just ravager face. My lord.
Quick Warden tips:
1. They can only smell you if you're within 6 blocks of them (horizontally)
2. They can only use their ranged attack if you are within 15 blocks (horizontally)
3. The darkness effect means you are 20 blocks away from them
4. It won't attack you with sonic beam if you HAVE made noise in the past 10 secs (It will continue to chase tho)
5. Probably a good idea to throw spare items to distract them (Possibly off of the bridge)
I'm %100 convinced that one of the buttons in the ice rotunda room opens up a door right next to the entrance.
One of Ethos first runs, he mentioned that spot looked like a piston door and Tango was like "how does he know that just by looking?!"

Oh, Pearl, so sad you weren't able to escape with those 20 crowns! Maybe for Phase 4 you could get a Dungeon Lackey to come with you as you do the Hard runs so that you can be told where the exits are and also have someone lure the ravagers away. Thanks for the video!

I love the long video, but im very disappointed in sooo many level 1 runs, your deck is outstanding, you should be hitting level 3 with your deck.
u did pretty good for ur first time in level 3, all things considered! i think i watched grian try it earlier and he camped the same spot for 5 minutes before realizing to go to the other side of the wall
Lots of unfortunate situations. Those two egg finds was awesome, but that ravenger basically saying "you mean this artifact I'm bouncing on ... nope, can't have it."
Have you jump boosted onto those ice trees?
Also of course you find a way to fall out of the dungeon 😂
Run #11:
Your compass was pointing to the artifact location at the spider lair vine climb to the left of the berry bush. You were right at it, but turned to die at the lava parkour.
The dungeon just couldn’t let Pearl get away with that amazing run with the 2 eggs and the ravager alley-oop.
Tango basically said this: one of those BOOKS have the key on what to do.
I believe there is two books on explaining rusty and the other revealing an Easter egg

Pearl being stuck in the room is very funny, I watched Tango's stream, and two ravagers are camping outside. Pearl's intuition was really good, and it was a great decision to stay.
Pearl, possible Easter Egg, 1:35:30 in your drip stone lava room on level 2, theres a berry bush with a trapdoor, flip up that trapdoor and crawl into that 1 block tunnel.... :)
Unless the trapdoor doesn't flip that way but totally worth a shot

I bet the egg for Lvl 2 is in the red mushroom area. Either parkour on red mushrooms, or underneath one of their tops.

my gosh i saw the majority of these runs live and this was by far the craziest phase for pearl, and my favourite
seeing the ravager jumpscares, accidentally escaping the dungeon, the insane 12th run withe the two eggs, twenty crowns and ravager boop live was amazing!!
unfortunate the dungeon was icily cruel to pearlo during phase 3
DONT throw berries to distract the warden. Just sneak away. It'll attack you once it's heard or smelled you 4 times, but at that point you're pretty much dead regardless.
It'll be ok Pearl. Your curiosity to the Easter eggs will pay off soon. You will bounce back from these losses this week and make great strides in the next phase.

1:23:30. Well uh, funny thing about this was I commented on one of Cub's videos that that powdered snow looked suspicious and could potentially have hidden a passage since the player could fit in it. I have now learned it's a hole.
Such good, interesting runs! I wish you would have gotten out with more, but damn, it was still fun to watch!
the run where you found 2 easter eggs and had the 20 crowns brought forth the backseat gamer in me. I really don't want you to feel bad for this, but i really wanted you to make it out, I was invested in your journey, first the insane (probably lucky) play of using the knockback from ravager mid jump to get up the wall .... that go me so excited. But then seeing you waste so much time to not draging away the ravager from your treasure spot .... it was painful to watch, you seemed to be so negative and distrought throughout the run, and it was such an incredible, cinematic run..... man i wanted you to make it.
And I think you could have, you can do this!
Just keep in mind large circles when draging ravagers and ASAP break line of sight, they are veeeery dumb and lose track of you immediately
and in the throne room you probably just needed to trust in yourself and go for it no advantage of going in circles
Also at the end, using up hunger to sprint up the stairs, and then sprintjumping circles in the throne room
but you know all that you just need to believe in yourself more
I gotta say you're awesome and I know it's stressful in the moment. I just gotta say when you're in that position and I've seen it with so many hermits now. Don't be afraid to just throw your compass down and if you miss just pick up on another run. You ran OVER the drop off point 5 maybe 6 times and each time you didn't even have your compass ready to drop. And all those possible chances were instead just burnt up hunger and clank that you didn't have spare.
Don't blame yourself though the preasure is intense when you're on those last runs we can see the shaking XD
That run with the easter eggs was downright heartbreaking!

1:35:50 the artefact could have been by the spider area, it is right above the chain shuffle bridge and there is a confirmed artefact spot
1:35:31 there is an Easter egg there. Flip up the trapdoor and you can crawl into that space. Has that one been found yet?

With jump boost, I believe you can go up to that bridge by jumping to some of the rocks around.
