I'm only 4 minutes into this and she's done zero sections, is already out of bleach and her hair looks like it's received zero saturation. This is a horror film.
Edit: i always shudder whenever a bleach fail proceeds to (in this case aggressively) brush their incredibly damaged hair. Good grief.
With what she spent on this whole process, she could have gone to the salon and gotten it done professionally.
I was adding it up in my head and came to the same conclusion!
I’m thinking it’s more like: she spent like $80. $7.99 per box plus the coconut oil at $5.99.
Sad she didn’t have 1 friend or relative in the world to help her. This is sad.
Also: with that skin tone: blonde is not meant to be. It looks odd.
@@lisawilson105 I completely agree!!
Yeah and in one sitting 😂🤣😂🤦👀 oh boy 💀
Even the more expensive one she mentioned
She has an olive undertone in her skin. I think dark hair suits her better. Im not sure of an ash blonde. But she bleached it. Then she used box bleaching. And the box colour she supposedly used has bleach or peroxide in it as well. So no wonder it went gummy.
I agree. She looked way better with darker hair.
Agreed. I'm always sad to see dark hair destroyed by bleach. I don't understand but maybe dark haired folk want lighter and light haired want dark.
I have increasing support for my hairdresser of 15 years after watching all of your reaction videos. I especially enjoy your humor and reactions !!! Oddly watching your videos releases me and they never get old.
For anyone thinking about lighting their hair, be aware there will always be damage even if done by a professional. If you now have dark shiny healthy hair, very light hair will never be as shiny, and it will be high maintenance to keep it anything close to nice, so I think you have to ask yourself if it’s worth it.
There's always wigs 😗
I am not a hairdresser & I am cringing 😬
Your a trip to watch! I love your reactions!!! 😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣
I am a stylist as well..and many people think what we do is easy...the only good thing of covid is that now we are appreciated. Sad that we had to be closed for a year to get there...
I had to laugh, while you had the meltdown over the coconut oil, when I spotted your palm tree tattoo!!.. it will always be there to remind you of all those who drive you crazy using coconut oil before bleaching 😂😂
HBs reactions are priceless😊
Buy stock in coconut oil 🤣
As a non-hairdresser, it’s quite shocking even for us to see. I find it baffling that people don’t do more diligent research into what they’re doing to their hair.
Also, I’m sure she’s joking, but it’s concerning to hear the level of despair she’s experiencing during this process. I hope that she loves herself and her hair, no matter what, once she’s finished. ☺️💕
I think people imagine bleach will act like shampoo or conditioner. They may be quite surprised by the very different texture of it.
@@thegreenmanofnorwich It definitely changes your hair. When I was young, I actually used bleaching to give my fine and flat hair more volume. Always went to a salon, though. Didn't want to take any unnecessary risks.
I have bought something to take colour out of my hair, have not used it yet 😅 First I have to figure out the best way to do it, and only then, I will maybe use it 😂 I can't belive in these days people dont explore before doing it 🙄😂
Lots of girls fr 14-25 do this bc they want a change. It’s just hair it grows back
@@michellem5647 That’s true. I feel it’s important to point out the impact that hair has on different individuals. It’s easy to say it doesn’t matter when you have hair, but realistically if it were all gone from your scalp, it could have an subconscious impact on how you and other’s see yourself. Also important to note that these products, when touching the scalp, enter the bloodstream..and they can cause allergic reactions.
The brushing at the end was horrifying!! Her hair was already so destroyed, and yet she was still just ripping through it. 😖
My soul straight up left my body when she started ripping through her hair like that
😭
when I worked in a hairdressing salon I hated when clients like her came, who destroyed her hair to save money, and believes that magically you are going to leave it as she wants and it will repair itself automatically
"And what is keeping me up at night is that you're not taking sections!!!" 💀
Your frustration is so adorable and funny haha😂 I can imagine Hairbuddha lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling and thinking of all the people who are not taking sections while bleaching their hair..👻😅
I am dying with you when she says she's going to put coconut oil again 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
This is sooooooo painful to watch 😭😭
As an ex hairdresser from the UK who in the 90s had 60vol (before it was banned) powder bleach applied to my scalp which caused third degree chemical burns, these videos absolutely bewilder me
I got scalp burns just from normal box bleach
60?? ☠️☠️
@@kayleigh1991 yep 60vol. It was horrific. It’s defo one thing from the 90s I don’t want to see come back that’s for sure!
3rd degree burns!? That degree of burn injury requires hospitalisation & treatment in a burn clinic.
@@leoniemary3850 yep and that’s what I had. I actually endured 4 skin grafts to my upper forehead and have patches towards the nape that the hair and scalp were destroyed and no hair grows there anymore.
I don’t know if your comment was intended to come across as questioning my injuries but that’s how it came across to me.
This was nearly 30 years ago so I am able to talk about it quite freely now despite how traumatising it was at the time
The way you said coconut oil with such disgust had me laughing! But I get it. After watching so many videos where people think it's going to solve all of their problems it's frustrating.
Hope you are having a great day!
I've seen this chick's video before, and it never ceases to amaze me that people like her think they can do it on their own....by themselves...just to save money....
...only to have to go to a professional anyway to fix their screw-up. 😒
This was one of the first bleach fails I watched on Brad Mondo's channel. Actually him and Hair Buddha have react to some of the same videos.
@@iamsoverybored878 Yeah, I noticed her video on Brad's channel first.
Some people need to learn the hard way, lol.
I'm so glad that I learned as a teenager that boxed dye couldn't do much more than add a reddish color to my blonette hair. And that was with having a family member who went to cosmetology school apply the "blonde" box dye to my hair. And she warned me it wouldn't be possible to get to a light blonde from a box and that trying to do so (especially at home) on my fine hair would probably destroy it.
And pay about 3x the amount she was quoted in the first place 😂
I really wanted to see the result of her going to the salon...like a cliffhanger LOL. Congrats on the 400K subscribers!! Love your videos!
If you look up Brad Mondo’s reaction video to this he shows her update. It’s…. not terrible….
🥴
@@JStrick525 Thank you!!
iirc she got a long pixie or short bob
What I have learned from all your videos is, I won't dare try to bleach my hair by myself. I will gladly save money each month until I have $400 to have it done properly.
I get so much joy watching your reactions. You make me laugh, in a good way. Thanks! You are such a cute young man.
What a beautiful surprise, Hair Buddha! Glad you are back. Thank you for brightening our days. 🌞❤️🌈
Oh you should have told us her channel so we could see the follow up. You crack me up with you coconut oil rants 🤣
Yeah I wanna see what happened!
0:53
I would love to see
@@kaitierae ah, thanks 😊
Watching her lather bleach into her hair is actually making my blood pressure rise significantly
*You and I make the same faces!*
I caught myself and just busted out laughing!
Oh Buddha! The technique!!!!!!! My mom always told me not to use a brush when your hair is wet! She's ripping through her exspensive home coloring like she's combing through a horse tail!!!!!!😖😖😖😖
Edit: I watched a video yesterday. How to clean your oven. Dish soap and baking soda!😂😂😂
$160 is an excellent price especially with the length and thickness of her hair. I pay $150 for a double process on my short pixie cut, I have have thin fine hair, but alot of it.
It would have been so worthwhile for her to pay a professional who knows what they are doing.
I agree. She was quoted a good price for her hair. I have a short pixie mohawk. My mohawk is pink, & clippered sides are my natural color. I pay about $150 for my cut, root bleach, & pink color.
I see way too many hair fails with people wanting to go blonde but blonde just doesn't suit them. Like even if it wasn't a fail I just don't know if she would've liked the end result on herself. Darker hair just suits her best imo.
Anyone else, keep yelling "SECTIONS!!!!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
She just slaps it straight onto her bonce. I understand trying to achieve a look cheaply but at least attempt to mimic good technique 😭
@@themayorreturns8686 it's brutal to watch 🤣
@@allthingsmini1992 trauma even though it isn't our hair. Thats when you KNOW it's bad xD
@@themayorreturns8686 truth 🤣
I hear people say box dye doesn't tell you the volume but they do. Maybe it's a Canadian thing but on every bottle of developer in box dye is always says 20 volume.
depends on the brand. In the US and L'oreal says what volume developer is on the bottle and it's usually 20 as well. Only their bleaches use 30.
I've colored and/or bleached my hair for years! I wish I knew all of your tips and info a long time ago! Thanks ! Vicki
“I’m shocked that it’s so dry cause it’s protected by coconut oil!” 😂
I am so lucky that I can afford to have my hair professionaly colored. I get stopped once or twice a week by someone telling me they love the color of my hair. If I had to do it myself, it would look like one of these videos!
I love hearing HEY HELLO! throughout my car !
Buddha said something near the end of the video what I've been thinking from the start of the video, Blonde is not her color. She's very pretty, but she needs cool/dark tones to match her skin
Anyone can be blonde. We see asians with platinum blonde hair and they still look good. The difference is skin tone and for her, I would imagine something more golden/caramel would suit better. Think: JLO, Sophia Vergara, Jessica alba.
I also feel like light/dark dimensions would really give her skin the kind of glow that most natural blondes try to get with fake tan, but instead end up looking orange 😂
yes but jlo and alba are pretty..this girl is not..im not that kind of person who comments and judge on ppl look and im not model myself but this girl have not cute or pretty face..she should invest in face surgeon and teeth than hair dyes..she is plain ugly..asians can be very preety especially kpop singers and they can look good in every color.. thats my opinion tho..if anyone comes saying im rude or something i really dont care everyone who is not blind can see she is ugly..if you want to reply defending her dont waste your time i will not return to read replies and you even cant see what kind of person i am based on one comment..
This looks like a Halloween wig…after it’s been in the kids toy chest
Fine sections !!!! More product !!!! I’m not a hair stylist but so frustrating, I understand your struggle Mr Hair Buddha💕
$160 for long thick dark hair seems pretty good to me. Twice that for a good job of it would be pretty decent.
160$ seems cheap for me. How are the usual prices in the US? I live in Switzerland and I have the same hair as her and I‘ll pay 150$ for a one inch hair cut! 😂
@@mej103 I live in England, so I'm doing a conversion to about £120 - £130. When I had my short hair bleached about 10 years ago, it used to cost about £80 per time.
@@thegreenmanofnorwich alright. 6 months ago I got balayage, a hair cut with styling and hairbotox treatment for 350 chf which is i think 300£. Which is for Switzerland and espacially Zurich quite cheap (turnt beautiful) so i dont know if thats pricey or cheap for others haha
This is the funniest thing I have ever seen, and your reactions were priceless. 🤣😂🤣
Your reactions are priceless! You are making my day, thanks for that!
New subscriber I've been binge watching all your videos over the last few nights. Good to see a new one pop up, Your comical reactions to what these people do to their hair are priceless, I would actually love to get an appointment with you to see what magic you could do with my natural grey wavy hair, Its hard to find a hairdresser that specialises in cutting natural wavy or curly hair.
Aww.. when you said the hair says "I 'm not playing anymore" OMG!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Your reactions are gold! Thanks for making these videos! Have a wonderful day 💖
I found you here on CZcams some weeks ago and I love your videos 🙏 you are so funny 🤣🤣🤣 and you have so many Tipps. Very helpful and perfect entertainment, thank you so much! 🙏❤️
Addicted to this channel 🤣 love you Hair Buddha!
Always a great day when you upload a video☺️ Thank you!!!
Dear Hair Buddha, you know you are amazing but still, I need to say... you are AMAZIIINNNNGGG! I really enjoy and learn from your videos, even every time I feel so much empathy with all that desesparation that you feel each time, perhaps is because since I was a teen my mother teach me so much about hair dying, treatments, etc. and truly I've never destroy my hair.... please keep doing this and keep helping others to be conscious and do the things not "the right way", just... "the way it has to be done". Hair blessings to you and everyone!!! 😄😄😄✌🏻💗
Here we go with the coconut oil … it forms a barrier so product can’t penetrate!!!! Love your videos!!!!
Hair Buddha, I just love how you say coconut oil xx
I used to dye and bleach my hair at home all the time never needed more than 2 boxes and always had a perfect result. This was pre youtube days....and my hair was never patchy. The key is working fast , slapping it on and letting it stay on for enough time. Saturate the hair, no dry spots. It's really not that hard and my hair was jet black, natural and curly afro texture.
We also read instructions. Kids nowadays can't read and have the attention span of a fly. That is why these videos keep happening... for our entertainment of course.
I also used to easily get my hair covered with 2 boxes, I have long, thick hair. I have stopped box dying my hair now, but when I did it for the last time earlier this year, I was up to using 3 boxes and could have, on some occasions, gone with 4. I honestly believe there is not as much product in the box now, as there was when I dyed my hair in the 90s
You know, I'm not a hairdresser, but I've had so many bad experiences, I've decided to cut my own hair. Despite the fact that it's terribly uneven, I don't feel as bad because i'm the one screwing it up rather than someone else. I feel like, I don't need to pay to have my hair screwed up when I can do it myself! The last time I went to a hairdresser, was about 7 years ago. I literally cried for 2 days and started wearing my hair up because I couldn't stand to look at it. She didn't do what I wanted, she cut it too short, AND it was uneven in the back. So much so that it resembled a ramp. That was when I gave up trying to find someone that I could trust. But watching these videos don't make me feel so bad.
Totally agree!!
His reaction to when she said I'm going to do the coconut oil again... Lol that was funny
"Let's surprise me." 😆🤩
🤣
i just found out about you and i love your videos. it definitely gives me a laugh and gets my day started. thank you!
Your reactions always makes me laugh 😂and you always make my day happy☀️❤!
This is awesome.im watching you while awaiting hip surgery and getting great belly laughs. Although I am guilty of box dye and fearful of bleach. Trust me the history is 3 hairstylists cut my hair above my ears on 3 occasions from 20 to 40. So neigh to haircuts.i love watching these.
I love looking at your face and waiting for the expression as they say "coconut oil" 😂
Congrats on surpassing 400,000 subscribers!! You deserve it, I’ve been watching at least one video of yours a day because you are so funny and helpful 😃 I will never understand why people think that it will be cheaper or quicker to do their hair themselves..they end up spending way more time, money and energy trying to fix their mistakes!! This girl was hard to watch haha 🫣
I worked with a girl (a million years ago now) when I first started in hairdressing & she specialised in colour correction. She was a talented lady but even her talent could only fix so much LOL.
@@georginaohara42 I’m sure haha, some people ruin their hair beyond saving!
@Tezza yes, I just found him a couple weeks ago but love his videos. He is nice, funny, and educational 😊
Wow..hasn't be done ever so well..it literally feels like yesterday when Hair Buddha was just starting up ...what a great achievement for such a lovely polite & generous soul !
I love your advice. Funny but also really useful info. And as always I love your accent. 😂
I love HB's facial reactions to these videos. He's gonna get to 500K subs before he knows it!

"Not uhhh hmmm ahhhh hmmm" 🤣 Had a long day at work and so tired...but this made my day (everytime)... iloveyou hair buddha 😍❤️
Why don’t these people go to the local beauty college? That’s where I go for all my hair stuff. Last year I bleached my butt length hair brown to blonde with a shadow root for $90. I love the beauty college!! They learn and you save big!!
Possibly because they don't have a "local beauty college". Or that college has a waiting list ten miles long.
@@juliajs1752 I do live in a bigger city so we have 2 and I have never ran into the problem of a waiting list. But some people are scared to go to the beauty college because they feel like because it’s a student they will get their hair ruined. I say this because I’m the only one in my family/friend group that will go because they are scared. I have never had my hair ruined but I have had to get things corrected always for free might I add.
I now find myself yelling, SECTIONS WHERE ARE THE SECTIONS! LOL love your videos.
Lovin the meltdown HB. I'm right there with ya buddy!
This hair is so strong, I am impressed. My hair is really dry, naturally. And it's not easy to take care.... Here in BR I think we learn since young how to do somethings.. there are few people that doesn't know how to do a painting, it's obvious for me that we have to slice the hair and do it in parts. I felt just like him reacting to this video. This girl had a really health and beautiful hair and did this without knowing anything and apparently didn't even searched. She is luck that was born with this strong hair. She doesn't even know how to brush it hehehe.... But even all of that it's a beautiful hair. Hope she got to a professional and he took care of it.
I think she could shape up her eyebrows & then she would be happier with the total look.
Her dark hair was nice. I think a reddish-brown would be a good color for her too.
The faces you make is hilarious👍😂😂😂
Why did she not go to the hairdressers, she hasn’t got a clue. I used to dye my hair at home with a brown box dye, but it never looked shiny and healthy. Now I go to to the hairdressers, and get a lovely colour, cut, wash, and trim, and feel like I’m being pampered for a couple of hours. So much easier.
Your reactions are epic ❤
I’m honestly surprised that people put in 0 effort and then get upset when their hair looks like crap. Of course it looks bad. Watch literally one CZcams video before you start if you want it to look ok.
You look a lot better than you did the other week..a lot brighter & healthier looking..you looked very tired for a while ..nice to see you looking great 👍xx
I love your videos!
His reaction every time she says the words coconut oil oh my God lol L O LL O L
i watched this video quite a while ago via Brad Mondo and then followed her. She really is a lovely person!
Trainwreck in progress.. Budda you're hilarious.. 😄
When I saw her applying the product like a conditioner on the top of her head, I knew it was going to be bad, very bad 🙈😅 why the hell they don’t wait a little bit to have money enough to go to a professional? 🥺 my heart is broken every time they messed up with their hair 🙈
I cringe at how little regard these young ladies have for their hair.
I think some of us went through this phase lol. I definitely did and while it was so much fun while I was doing it, it is also very tragic to look back to 😭😭 Still no regrets. I take so much care of my hair now though.
@@user-is7xs1mr9y LOL I just had a major flashback to the early 90’s & putting ‘sun in’ in my hair. It was Tomcat orange LOL. Ah we live, we learn eh?
Kids nowadays can't read and have the attention span of a fly. The only thing we can do is cry for humanity... and laugh watching their stu && pidity in videos like this.
Only $160-$480 to bleach thick, black hair???? Dang that still sounds like a screaming deal lol
Hair Buddha I have to thank you. Because of your videos, tips for the first time I bleached my hair with 20vol not 40 😁 Twice, but with great result. Thank so much 🌷😊😊
Just when I thought it couldn't get worse...BOOM she's at it again! Some people are just a lost cause....
I love these videos
How could she not know that this would be a long, time consuming process?? Did she not watch any videos??
Also.. the salon would have given her such a nicer, more purposefully dimensional look. With how much money she spent she could've gone somewhere.
Noooo, don't brush your hair like that! It hurts my hearth! 🤣 Hair Buddha my favourite one! Thank you
Local Beauty Schools do hair color for $30 where I live. 😲 My niece has long Native hair and they gave her red flame ombre and it turned out spectacular. (Tulsa Ok) Thats less expensive than home bleaching kits alone. Then the cost of color. You can spend $100 for at home color easy.
What I don’t get is have these people never watched CZcams? Back in the day when I used to die my hair we didn’t have a lot of tutorial but these girls can literally look up what to do and yet they still just slather bleach on their hair and expect it to come out perfectly.
I also love that by the time she was done she had already spent the same amount of money as the cheapest salon. I really want to see what the end result was after she went to the salon.
Kids nowadays learn nothing at school. They are getting stu & pid by the day and are unable to do something as basic as what you described.
Great,I was waiting 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Some Coffe an Hair Buddha..... Perfect Morning! xD xD
Yes!!!! Blond isn´t her color!!!!!
I’m like a girl, I’ll tell you, never touch yourself: a) thick hair b) thick C) long d) don’t take supermarket paint, it is done on all hair so that it can lighten up the horse. You are all beautiful, good luck💃💃. I like the channel, continue, I always watch, even though I'm Russian
Aww. Love you too. 💖
When she said, she's gonna apply more coconut oil and you just lost it xD Loving your reactions, cause I thought the same 😅
In the end hearing and seeing her ruining the last bit of her hair... OMG, it hurt so much...
Why people think the hairdresser job is easy to do...its a profession. They study for doing it..
I love your channel from Quebec.

I’m so happy my mother in law is a hair dresser, she bleaches and trims my hair was free!
but when she said im going to do coconut oil I screamed🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's soooo fun, to see your reactions.
