I love this, your wife is eating good food whilst pregnant… in my Jamaican culture (although I was born in England 💯 Jamaican descendant) we are given more of our food when pregnant it’s viewed as more nutritional at such a pivotal time as growing a baby! Any other time you can eat what you want but once pregnant our ancestors and family here and in Jamaica fully encourage eating Jamaican cuisine 💯% that’s all they offer you and especially if bringing food to the hospital or at home it’s always fruits and Jamaican food all day long 🤣 we enjoy it whilst it lasts! Remember the baby will have a taste for Jamaican food too when weaning mash up some for them. 👶🏼! Glad everybody loved your food you did a great job⭐️ respect 👍🙏🏽❤️

You did a great job! Looks fire! I'm Bahamian-American. I'm a native Floridian. Grew up eating and making all kinds of island food. Oxtails is definitely a favorite in our house. You make me want to grab all the dishes you made. For your jerk chicken try adding a little brown sugar or honey to your marinade. Sieve it so it will nice and smooth and you will create a wonderful jerk barbecue sauce which were accustomed to having on top. Perfectly compliments the spicy chicken.
Rice and peas is Jamaican style.
Peas and rice is Bahamian style.
Try some Bahamian peas and rice, cracked conch, stewed conch, johnny cake, conch fritters... 😋❤️
