The Givenchy Gentleman Original all the way for me - worn it for 40 years!! I was bought the 2017 Gentleman Givenchy version but it is under-powered in length of scent on body - no comparison in my opinion to the original!

I’m 29 and rock the original GG .. the modern versions are boring..though I will say that I do enjoy Gentlemen Only from 2012.

Great comparison/review guys. I own both Gentleman 2017 and Gentleman EDP 2018. To be honest, I don't wear Givenchy Gentleman 2017 very often, though I do think it is a nice scent. I prefer Gentleman EDP. It somehow reminds me of Prada L'Homme Intense. It's very nice, mildly sweet and sexy.
I'm wearing the oldest version(of course not vintage) tonight. After some rain it feels nice to wear such a scent if you're into it😁 by the way I'm 28😅so not an old man

Love you guys, Great video. Sears in Puerto Rico is not going to have the Givenchy line anymore and they are selling everything with a 40% discount. I got both gentleman edt and edp for $56 and $60. They come with 3.3oz and a small .5 travel spray. Check your local sears.

I'm really a Givengy fragrances fan. I still have Givenchy pour Homme (the burgundy one), my special occasion woody spicy. After that one I bought Play, Play Sport and Play Intense. Really love the Sport flanker (emptying it soon), lovely scent, but no performance, it is gone within the hour. Tried the Gentleman EDP yesterday. Beautiful scent, don't know if it is too heavy for me. Would like to have a new fall/ winter office scent though.

Ok question for you. I notice you are wearing a metal band watch. I am curious if you clean it often. My watch band always seems to smell like all the fragrances I wear. I apply my fragrance to my wrists before I put on my watch but my watch always picks up the scent and it ends up just smelling all the fragrances I wear all week.If you wash your watch what do you do.

Well what watch is it? I advise against washing it, but I would use rubbing alcohol without getting anywhere near ghe caseback, because there is a rubber gasket around the edges of the caseback that is what helps keep a watch water resistant. Soap and oil eats at the gasket too, so no soap+ water.
Red and blue were both givenchy pour homme.

I emailed Givenchy just two weeks ago, and the individual who replied stated that what's sold with "ORIGINALE" on the box (spelled with an "E" on the end), is just that...it's the original scent. She may very well NOT know what she's talking about, because nearly e/one reviewing this says it's not available. Ha...who knows, right? A quick sample sniff of what's out there though would confirm if indeed it's THEE "original" formulation where the strength is not dialed down.
*So, did you buy any?* I just took the link that he provided and that's NOT the boxing where it's spelled like the rep indicated, but the bottling looks the same as I recall. Either way, most of these discounters allow returns.
*EDIT............I took the link and the description itself says it's NOT the original but a "modern interpretation".

the naming on these products is so damn confusing, i almost bought the wrong cologne online after smelling it in a duty free shop, just because they all have the same name
