The training centers aren't for Helldivers. Helldivers are exclusively trained at branch HQ on Mars.
These are training centers for the SEAF Army, who are the majority of Super Earths military personnel.
If this is a prelude to a stratagem, then we will recieve one that deploys standard SEAF infantry. This is additionally confirmed by leaks of a stratagem which does a exactly that.
The xbox bit Cloud said had me intrigued... what if another platform like Xbox got a slightly neutered down version (maybe free to play??) of the game where you can only spawn into games in progress and only as SEAF soldiers. They wouldn't as well-equipped/survivable as a Diver but since the game has the dodge/dive mechanic, as well as ways to disengage and increase the time between getting stomped... that would be incredible and unique. Later "porting" this free SEAF mode to the other platforms from Xbox and bringing the full-fat HD2 game to Xbox would just be peachy as hell

Imagine you drop in and help out with a squad as a low rank SEAF soldier. Would be cool as a future concept if you want a hardcore experience.
There are mistakes in it but applying a Caesar cypher to the message ad using the key it reads something like
"Attention all automatons, keymaster key, system override 2 required to stop attention all and inform. Do not deviate from assigned path. Do not deviate from assigned path. Using a Ceasar cypher the best you will get is "auiivotn mll ammiotnton" (apparently supposed to be attention all automatons) followed by gibberish.
Having worked on it for a while, my theory is the person who made the cypher just asked chat gpt to "encrypt message using method this and that" and didn't bother checking if it was actually done properly.

I would seriously appreciate if those NPCs aren't just a strategem call in, but also out on missions. Like occasionally encountering patrols on planets, which were liberated and now have to be defended, and would technically have SEAF troopers guarding them. Or having a mission type about defending a SEAF base, like in the starship troopers movie.
A nice idea would be like you said and at random times there would be an emergency SOS from SEAF and if you help em out then they’ll follow you for the rest of the game
And then a air drop gets thrown on them
It would be fun to have to run around repairing fences and turrets to get ready for a bug breach

Based on the hint that the key is "2 left 1 down", this looks like it could be a simple substitution cipher where each letter is shifted 2 positions to the left in the alphabet, and then down 1 row to the next alphabetic row. Applying that cipher, the decoded text would be:
"Attention all automatons, standard shutdown procedure in effect at the current time and location. As the current directive is nighttime energy conservation mode engaged nighttime energy conservation mode engaged. Core unit request emergency shutdown immediate emergency shutdown. Doing it in a slightly different manner, you could also get:

One thing to mention, however.
Attention has 9 characters, and notably a single "A" followed by a "TT."
The encrypted text, "YSGGTMRL," only has 8 characters, and the double "G" happens a whole extra character later.
Unless we also need to take the ":" into consideration with decryption to achieve 9 characters, but then the "GG" is now 3 whole characters into the word.
So far this is the best decryption I've found, but it still leaves me with some questions.
@@CypherusMcClain The author said that they purposefully mispelt and left out characters, which meant that the final result was incomplete and had to be expanded upon slightly to make logical sense.
They also said that the first three words did translate to 'attention all automatons'. which is what alloed everything else to become easily translated.
I could be incorrect about the translation, but I don't believe that I am.

I have been looking forward to this stratagem for soooo long, it would be amazing to be able to call in a squad to hold off a horde for just long enough for an amazing escape! 💜 I’m hoping that I will be able to control the soldiers and give them orders like “hold objective” and “retreat”.
I'm not holding my breath that we get that stratagem, I would love it! Don't get me wrong.
But man am I going to be disappointed if we don't..
When we get the troop drop I hope we can use ping functions to tell them to reposition or attack. Would be a nice feature
I hope they reshuffle the sample rewards structure a little , something with 1 or 2 super samples without it being suicidal + would be a nice option to have . We need a requisition sink clearly too !
I hope they let a 7 have a couple rares or a trade in system for rares
7 isn’t too bad once you get the hang of it or get lucky with some rando’s. Super samples are easy to find it’s the rares that are killer
@@gangsterguardsman4576ong, I’m maxed on commons and have like 30 super rares with only like 70 rares and I need 4 of the tier 4 upgrades that need 150 rares and like 3 more upgrades that require 60/80 rares

It'd be nice to get an NPC drop stratagem if the NPC's are capable. There's that weird finely tuned balance of them needing to be capable of keeping up with you in the mission and also not dying to every little thing, but they also can't just do the mission for you. There's this void for NPC behavior in doing just that and I don't think we've found the solution yet. But this makes me wonder if there's a long game Joel's going for. We're sending in eager conscripts, but we also need to remember that we were denied C-01 forms for a while there, meaning there's going to be an in game generational gap, and we're sending more bodies at the problem? I feel like we're being railroaded into a period of the game where we'll get fewer reinforcements because of the compounding mass conscription and denied C-01's. Either lower number of reinforcements, a limited number of additional approved reinforcements, longer time for approved additional reinforcements, or no additional reinforcements after you've burnt through them all. Something's formulating here.
So the new strat is not actually confirmed in any way? I wouldn't get your hopes up then. For previous major orders they made it pretty clear it was for a strat, this one seems iffy.

I want chaff NPC’s, conscripts who are a stratagem and are very “consumable” like a turret but it follows you and distracts the enemies.

With how crazy the enemies are, and with friendly fire damage, I feel like any strategem that sunmons little npc guys isnt going to last. They are going to die instantly lol

Also, I wanted to point out that the first Helldivers went up to difficulty 15 so I think it’s safe to expect that HD2 might get up there some day.
Wish I was anywhere near cap. Still at 18 modules unlocked. Joined near launch but 2 jobs and 2 kids makes it hard to play more than a daily challenge and maybe an additional dive or two over the weekends.

The cipher looks like it could be a Vigenère cipher. The key could be twoleftonedown.
Loving your content coverage. Excellent work. In regards to newer environments in game: URBAN WARFARE. decent sized towns and maybe entire cities to fight bots and bugs in would be very intense. As a veteran of the GWOT, urban warfare can get insane.
The cypher is simple- it’s an announcement for a new stratagem called Churro Stand. It unleashes its smells of dough and sugar to deflect enemies and bring them down with a sugar rush from HELL also allows the players to eat churros and gain extra stamina
They should add passive abilities that expire after a certain amount of time that would make you want to spend your samples or requisition points and also i think it would be cool to add extra strategems slots if you spend your samples on them as a passive.. there's so much potential with these games but they never explore those potentials

The call in stratagem could be really fun for players if there was an option on the ship to answer calls and be one of the npcs that drops in to help out for whatever duration it is. Not sure if it would be allowed to choose a load out or just simply drop in with standard gear and have that or what you pick up to work with. You would want them to drop the gun when time was up. Could even have a mini game of sorts which gives you a score for your effort when time is up and some kind of reward for answering the call. It would also be a micro way to test more than 4 players in a map for a time.
I plan to run trooper callins exclusively once they are in. I hope they follow you around.

The cypher for the code is explained right at the start. 2 left 1 down. so the Y key would be an F. 2 keys left, 1 key down. maybe that will help " break " the Message

Watch the NPC Strat be a 1 or 2 times use only.. and everytime they drop in your teamate throws a 500 k bomb and kills them, or the Guard Dog Rover kills them. They looked to have basic gear ( non helldive armor) and weak.. From the vid shown.
A 10th difficulty would be sweet been doing hell dive on bugs forever then a few weeks back there to do in hell dive on on bot. as long as ya got a decent team it's pretty solid. Use the only place suicide when I just feel like coasting through stuff or testing out different combinations of strats or weapons

I think in that text you can sort out two letters like yq for one letter, same for pg, yqpg could be 'is' or 'it' something like that. Yq oda could mean I am, ivnt figured out if that assumption would lead to solving the puzzle but it seems to me that it would make sense to switch the letters in some sort of order to create words.
When it comes to strategems, there is no such strategem, but there is the Orbital Precision Strike which is Right, Right, Up, meaning the opposite.

Things come when we least expect them, just like this poor kid. Probably one of his greatest and happiest days, on his way for graduation pics.. but all of a sudden, his life ends before he can even take those pictures. Heartbreaking, but hard reality.
I wonder if they could allow us to prestige and reset our characters? Maybe allow for ship skin unlocks when you do?
They should allow us to unlock an extra stratagem slot for requisition slips each mission. Or to ignore the cooldown on a stratagem for requisition slips.
I just want to say i enjoy decapitating bule titans when i deploy. Mark big stuff and imma squish it. So mark heavies and remeber it will 1 shot chargers and hulks.
