      It may be because as the interviewer she is trying to create a debate to allow Peterson to express himself to those whom may disagree with him. It doesn't necessarily mean that she believes in the stance she is taking as the interviewer. You can assess that when she says, "Good answer" through her mouth movements without saying it out loud. So I got the impression that she may agree with him to some extent.

    • @kdphotos4691
      @kdphotos4691 Před 2 lety +2

      Ah yes, the ol' "women are crazy" trope. She is an interviewer doing her job. Change the sexes and you will see that it is you who is acting up, not an interviewer you dislike because she does not fit your beliefs on how a woman "should" behave. She isn't crazy.
      You also used another misogynist trope: calling women "Karen" for asking questions or using their voices at all.
      "Creature?" Reverse the sexes and you will see that you are repeating misogynist propaganda. You have dehumanised her because again, she isn't playing into your agenda. If she were a man and he were a woman, you would be saying "the interviewer really was calm, speaking to such a crazy creature." Alas, there are no man-hating derogatory words which I can insert there to help you see it logically.
      The fact that yet ANOTHER word has been created to insult women for doing the SAME THINGS as men does speak volumes.
      Peterson has an agenda. If he didn't, he'd be able to answer her questions. He cannot give examples of "women being out of control."
      The benchmark for being out of control would be gang rape, which is a male crime inflicted upon others. You don't see women *organising* themselves to commit senseless crimes which ruin and destroy lives. You don't see women *creating* wars with the incapability to think for themselves and ask "why take orders from men who thrive on death and destruction." Women get dragged into the male created system of wars, and they are usually victimised. When they aren't victimised, their accomplishments are minimised, hence how men gaslight women into "knowing their place."'
      Perhaps you could answer FOR him. How are women "out of control?" Indeed, even the act of that particular woman doing her job in that video has you accusing her of being "crazy" and calling her a racist (not sure why you would use the slur "Karen" when they weren't talking about race at all).
      If he can't handle questions during an interview, then he needs to keep his trap shut.

    • @plznotnoworever1878
      @plznotnoworever1878 Před 2 lety

      Again, a very insightful answer that peels back layers of accepted norms of human behavior. The notion that women are innately gossipers and that gossip is damaging and used to hurt others is completely short-sighted. When men and women of all ages come together, the most popular topic of conversation is talking about other ppl. Talking about others in a subjective manner is by definition, gossip. Men and women who are idea ppl and gravitate towards philosophy, literature, practical technical conversations, "gearheads", study scripture, or generally focus on intangible ideas are admired/respected, but don't have a lot of friends. Provincial thinking and communicating makes men and women likable and relatable. Can gossip be malicious and damaging? Yes. To claim this is the domain of women is utterly laughable and unremarkable. I know what an out of control and vicous woman can look like and behave and I don't have any of his credentials. He presents an argument that because women are naturally gossipers (gossip= deviant behavior/slander), they can never be truly trusted. He undermines so many previous compelling lectures he gave about the power of commitment, love, relationships, and giving yourself wholeheartedly to the man or woman you chose to have a life with.

      @@plznotnoworever1878 I don't disagree with much of what you're saying really, but there were some things that I genuinely didn't catch in the interview. He didn't say that gossip by it's nature is malicious, he said that female bullying often takes the form of reputation destruction and gossip. He prefaced this whole bit by talking about "women who are out of control", merely talking about this doesn't disregard everything that's wrong with the behaviour of men. I also didn't catch him saying at any point "because women are natural gossipers, they can never be fully trusted", that must have been an inference on your part. He just mentioned the statistics involving the antisocial behaviour. This isn't in relation to the overall defined differences between every man and every women. It's a statement on the antisocial inclinations of one or the other. We shouldn't be afraid of the notion of female antisocial tendencies, we should be aware of the ways we can be harmful to others so we can prevents them. That's why I have somewhat enjoyed the more widespread awareness of toxic masculinity(just not when it's misapplied). When it comes to antisocial behaviour and guys.. that's been damn important for me to be aware of growing up, to protect myself from my own inclinations and those of others.

      @@oWildChildo First, thank you for not attacking me for having a different interpretation of this interview. Secondly, Peterson is the master of "read between the lines". If you don't infer, his message has little value. My spouse is Canadian and my mother in law and mother love Peterson in a way that does not resonate with me. My husband is super bright and we are both very mechanically minded, we are a very good fit for each other. He tried his hardest to listen to a lecture given by Peterson and he turned to me and said, babe I have no idea what he was trying to tell me. This was after Peterson was invited to Fox and went on a mind boggling tirade that left everyone baffled. Why am I telling you this? My husband who is so bright, so smart, such a great provider, such a great dad is not untouchable. I don't bite my tongue because he is a good man and a good provider. I bite my tongue when I need to think about how I am going to approach a sensitive/difficult subject. I give my husband my best. He knows it. If I confront him, I am emotionally fucked up and I need him to get to know how important his position really is to me. When he gives me a thoughtless, mainstream garbage answer, I am like NO. I did not marry you to get a garbage answer that I could get from Reddit. I married you because your the most thoughtful, understanding of what it is like to be so poor with no prospects as a male who is supposedly "privileged". As I am writing this, I realized, the only interviewer who would tap into my greatest would be my spouse. Everyone else would get a shitty, semi-comical, evasive answer. No one else deserves my best. Is it kinda sexist? YES. She was trying to be provactive and irritating and she succeeded in getting under his skin. She got the better of him, unfortunately. This is not the battle of the sexes. He did not get his message across by overriding her cynicism and trying to date and accommodating current social norms by committing to relationships as a pathway to fulfillment. He is flawed, but having 2 women that I love, love him, made me reconsider what he wanted for humanity. Women can be cruel to men. Men can make women more cynical than God intended. You know what is true and real and powerful? Men and women make each other better. I am the best woman that I could be for my husband. My husband is the best man he could be for me as his spouse. Peterson does not take sensational, irritating women seriously. His fault is allowing and letting her dominate the conversation. I will give him a pass on being a passive male who allows an aggressive female dominant the narrative, he knew it was not worth it.
      Have babies with a woman or man, the whole narrative changes. Bottom line is women and men bring so much value and worth to each other's lives, it is undeniable. I don't wish for the past, I am grateful for what I have. My man makes me better, I make him better. If you are a man or woman who is disenfranchised by the world, I get it and appreciate your struggle. Love is real and undeniable. Men need women and women need men. Stop fucking around and pretending this is not our relatity.

      Zionism (Hebrew: צִיּוֹנוּת Tsiyyonut [t͡sijo̞ˈnut] after Zion) is the nationalist[fn 1] movement of the Jewish people that espouses the re-establishment of and support for[3] a Jewish state in the territory defined as the historic Land of Israel (roughly corresponding to Canaan, the Holy Land, or the region of Palestine).[4][5][6][7] Modern Zionism emerged in the late 19th century in Central and Eastern Europe as a national revival movement, both in reaction to newer waves of antisemitism and as a response to Haskalah, or Jewish Enlightenment.[8][9][10] Soon after this, most leaders of the movement associated the main goal with creating the desired state in Palestine, then an area controlled by the Ottoman Empire.

       David Bolha People are not even aware that 99% of nowadays jews are Ashkenazi jews who got nothing to do with biblical jews. Ashkenazi Jews mainly came from Russia back then before WWII but they started from Germany and then also Poland became their homeland for a lot of centuries because that was last of few countries in Europe where they were able to live in peace as rest of Europe just hated them (for a reason). They are now having a whole of the USA in their back pocket. Fun fact, Lenin was Ashkenazian Jew :)
      The whole point of World War II was to create the state of Israel by making from mainly Polish and German Jews and of course other people, some sort of sacrifice for that goal. They achieved it and they do not allow those facts to be written in mainstream books for students and schools. You need to reach for pecks of information from different sources in order to get at least some kind of picture of the whole situation.
      So by looking at that, I need to agree with Jordan Peterson that they are very intelligent people, but also I need to admit, that he is blinded just like most of the people on the fact, that we are being fooled by this fuking martyr mentality that jews love to represent only if they feel the urge to push their political agenda, because otherwise, they do not care about Auschwitz or at least Ashkenazian leaders do not care about it.

      I am not going to argue for or against your personal experiences with women, but what I think he completely ignored because it does/did not fit his narrative is how physically aggressive women are becoming. If you have never experienced physical abuse from a woman, you are very fortunate. When we talk about "equality" we can not just focus on how the patriarchy has stunted women's growth or trying to provide adequate funding to women's sports ( think title IX). We also have to recognize that women have been losing their feminine sensibility and gravitating towards a male approach to conflict resolution. Women ARE physically aggressive, especially to men. To deny this current phenomenon is not benefiting anyone. If she said something along the lines of I know plenty of women who have acted out in a way that could or did physically harm their male partner and I myself have fantasized about harming my male partner, how do you help the "out of control" woman who aligns with male "out of control" behavior? She had every right to question his absolute commitment to a somewhat narrow vision of what is out of control in a woman. I am not going to say that his deficiencies define him. I think he is a person who loves humanity deeply. I never knew who she was until this clip and I listened to other interviews she conducted to give me a better understanding of her skills. She is intense and unapologetic. This is her style. It is not what I value in a good interviewer, but Jordan did not get special or harsher treatment than her other guests.

    Peterson says that the data suggests that women tend to destroy peoples character using gossip and innuendo as opposed to using violence when showing aggression.
    Female interviewer in response continually tries to destroy Peterson's character using gossip and innuendo.
    This is too perfect.

      Yeah, and instead of confronting him physically, she does exactly what women do to their opponents - attempts to discredit him.

    I was a CEO of a medium sized company for a while and one thing I learnt was that the women dominated HR department routinely screened out competent female candidates that were also physically attractive. Of course, the HR manager would never admit to this but it became abundantly obvious once we reinterviewed candidates that had failed a preliminary screening. A clear case of passive aggressive.

      I have known more than one woman who tried to avoid working for a female supervisor. They much preferred a male boss.
