I feel compelled to share my story with you all - my DM is 28 years younger than me. He's 18 and I'm 46. I was thrown so completely out of whack by his attention. He pursued me so hard at first, but there was a pure innocence there that I trusted even though it hurt him that I rejected his advances. Over the months that we got closer it was like I was having a nervous breakdown - because I was becoming more and more attracted to him and he was just a kid! I also am in an abusive marriage and had NEVER looked outside of my marriage for affection, so the feelings scared the hell out of me. I know now that I would have never let a grown man into my life the way I let this boy in because I was so distrustful of men in general. It took 6 months of this back and forth before I discovered the Twin Flames community. I had never even heard the term before! Long story short it has been 10 months now. He has a serious girlfriend, and he is leaving for the Navy in a few months. But we are like best friends even thought there is definitely sexual chemistry. I have never loved anyone more than I love him. And he loves me back which is such a gift. I don't know what the future holds for our relationship but our love for each other is sweet and pure and healing to us both. And we will always be in each other's lives in some way. I hope that helps someone on their journey. Sometimes love is enough, even if you're not in union. I am exploring my psychic gifts and finally leaving behind the abuse. As hard as this journey can be I will be forever grateful to be on it and to have my DM by my side, whatever that looks like and whether it's in the physical sense or simply connected at the soul level. I had to come back to the channel to comment on this issue. I'm just two years older than my DM who is also a different color. He's Italian/American and I'm African American and we're different religions I'm sure. So these are the perceived obstacles that has to be overcome. We spent time together on and off at our work and at the time none of this seemed to matter, however; something got in the way but Love really does conquer all. Wow you look so young in your 20’s ... this really helped put things in perspective, thank you SO much. At first I thought I was going through a hormonal mid life set back meeting my twin. I thought it was infatuation ... then after 3-4 months and from our on and off communications realised i experienced love at first sight, soul recognition, meeting him activated and accelerated my spiritual journey.... and kick ass inner work from the triggers that surfaced initially .... Thanks Liz! In times of doubt when things don’t seem to be going right or when I am cutting myself down as the fool, I remind myself that the universe has carried me this far. The signs are apparent. Thank you so much for this. My DM is 15 years younger than I, and we have cultural and lifestyle differences. My most recent (even that was a long time ago) relationships have been with older men. The age gap didn't matter to me then because I was the younger one. Being the older one in this connection brought up insecurities.

16 year gap. I am older he is younger. I was more concerned about the age difference then him.
He did pass on early and I has him channelled. He still in love with me unconditional. Surround with Devine love. Wants a new begining when we both can select our time togeather. He wants marriage and children in a recarnate live. We had pass lives we remember. He now is not listening to his family opinion.

I am moving there this year without expectation of what may or may not happen - setting my own path while keeping an open door to him. So this is what I arrived to at this point in this journey... no matter what happens, I completely accept that I love him unconditionally and nothing will change this.
