I'm 36, and this song is one of the rare ones that gains meaning the older you get. I wouldn't say that we're old, but we're definitely noticing the differences and this song highlights them perfectly.

Loved your reaction. When I was younger I was afraid to show emotion because I equated that with weakness, so young and dumb. Lol. Now at 42 having gone through seasons of different friendships and jobs, the memories are still so vivid and music like this with deep meaning just amplifies those memories. All these years, they go by in the blink of an eye
I got kicked out of school when I was 14 and in 7th grade. Just sitting at my home doing nothing since the. I'm 17 today and I miss my classmates so much and I always get depressed when I listen to this song :(
