I think it’s interesting that you don’t find their scrubs making your skin that smooth/soft. They’re pretty abrasive in my opinion, and seem to have thicker particles in them than other scrubs I’ve tried. What scrubs do you find that make your skin soft?
Hi, thanks for commenting! So I find these scrubs too harsh on my skin, I think with the particles being bigger it just feels like it's scraping my skin. The oils in them work okay, but they don't leave my skin like silky smooth how I prefer it. Some other scrubs I've tried have butters and oils in them, and I find that the plant butter really helps to seal in moisture, whereas just using oils is too light for a scrub (imo). Since the sugars exfoliate the top layer, I like to have a scrub that also is really moisturizing so my skin doesn't feel dry or rough afterwards. I've tried fresh's brown sugar scrub (sephora) and that one is oil based but really left my skin feeling soft after. For a butter & oil based scrub I can recommend my brand Bellavana Beauty, and kopari's coconut scrub is okay (ulta). I Like the slick feeling after I use a scrub, but some people don't like to feel anything on their skin afterwards, so scrubs like tree hut or any of the many others Ive tried could be fine for them. But i like that little extra moisture. Hope that was helpful! :)
@@aaliyahbellarose thanks! I’ll look into those scrubs. I have naturally dry skin, so I’m used to having to put on a lotion or cream after I shower. Maybe that’s why I haven’t noticed my skin feeling dry after using their scrubs.
@@jennyk629 I'm glad I could help! I have the same - I use a moisturizing body wash (I find that helps not strip my skin so much), then follow up with a body scrub (butter&oil based) and then follow with either a body oil in the shower or a body butter post shower. My favorite way is to use a body oil in the shower after i washed & exfoliated because it just seals all that moisture & hydration right into my skin, and then when I come out and dry off, the oils aleady had time to sink into my skin, so my skins nice and soft! Plus, there's nothing I need to do after, since I already moisturized! Its my fave way of moisturizing if Im in a rush or just dont feel like doing a full body moisture sesh lol I use the body oils from my brand Bellavana Beauty for that :)

9$!? at my store it’s 7$-
💀
everything in Massachusetts is like way more expensive i guess lol!!
@@aaliyahbellarose oh!! loll
At my store it’s like 4 dollars 💀
@@yuhperiodt4193 woah!
I know it’s cheaper for me to buy them at Walmart instead of ulta, but ulta does have some specialty scents that you can’t get at Walmart.
Tree hut went from being $2.50 on Amazon to $9 because of tik tok
I hate it here
on target it’s $8
It’s not that big of a deal get a life 💀
Tree hut has changed my skin so much I have sensitive spots on my arms and legs and I can’t even believe how soothing this is for my skin I’ve tried like every product from other brands this is life changing for me none of the other products have helped my skin I’m happy that I found a brand that works for me and my skin so I recommend this product so much🎉❤
I’m so glad to hear that they’ve helped! Which is your favorite? Are there any other brands you’d be willing to try or have come across recently ?
ULTa has a spring haul sale! 25% off tree hut
Thanks for letting me know! I just finished a mass haul at sephora though LOL
I have the watermelon and pink hibiscus and my watermelon is SOOO strong like no joke so im using my pink hibiscus😭
Ooh pink hibiscus I’ll have to check that one out :)
For me tree hut has made my skin soo soft and moisturises it
I’m so glad that it’s been working good for you!
Tree hut is on clearance at Walmart for $5 they had the cotton candy one and peach one for $5
Oohh we love a good sale!!
It’s soooooo good!
It does smell really good, cant deny that!!
You can also find it in target in the shampoo/beauty isle
Yess! They have this one on sale on Ulta.co m for like $7!
I have that it smells so good I also have a Tahitian vanilla one and it smells like a candle
Ooh I think I’ve tried that ! I personally don’t really like vanilla scents tho but so far the only vanilla scented anything I’ve been able to use has been Skylar’s Vanilla Sky fragrance - that one I’ve been able to use. What other scents do you like from tree hut ?
I have the strawberry one and it's nice and smells like a strawberry candy. I bought it from Walmart
Yes that one is good too!
Told you!❤
Gotta try
you def should!!
They used to be $4.97 for yearrrrs at Walmart lol. Inflation is crazy!
It def is!! I canttt
at target they have $8 tree hut
Never tried the shave oil before I heard that's really good too
Ooh I bet it smells so good! I've tried one of their shave oils in coconut lime but didn't really like it! It felt too thin, like it wasn't coating the hairs enough but at the same time was almost too slick so my razor would just slide over the hair lol !
you ca find tree hut suger scrubs at target 4 8 dollers
The color is so pretty
I know right! This is my fave scent:)
I prefer teals sugar scrubs because the scents are more natural and it feels like a more natural product . I can’t take the overpowering sweetness of some (most) tree hut scrubs. Dr teals is the same price point and the jar is bigger.
Yes! I get overwhelmed by heavy scents too, it can be nauseating sometimes😵💫
I literally spent 10 mins trying to open it in the shower and it never opened 😭
Oh no!! Lolol
does it exfoliate well like is it good for using before shavng
9$ where I live it’s £16 which I s equivalent to 23$
That’s so insane !! They’re a luxe item in some places for sure I can’t imagine how much some of the other more high end things are 🥲
Can it be used on face?
Hi! I definitely wouldn't use this on your face - it's meant for the body! But I also don't suggest using any physical exfoliant on the face, especially if you have sensitive or acne prone skin because it can be really irritating. It's best to use a chemical exfoliant for your face if you're able to (if you have really sensitive skin, you can try a serum that has glycolic acid, lactic acid, or BHAs like 1x a week). Chemical exfoliants really work from the inside out to help exfoliate the skin and promote skin cell turnover so your skin looks its best! Remember, exfoliants help to smooth the skin and unclog the pores, but if you're looking for discoloration or scar products, there are different ingredients that help with this! I've been using in particular, the Good Molecules Discoloration Serum & Paula's Choice Retinol Serum. Let me know if that was helpful & if you have any other questions :)
At my target it’s $8-
They have them for like 6-7 at Walmart 💀
You got that for 9? In my country Tree hut is around 25-30 :/
OMG stopp! Yes its like 9 - 10 USD here!
Is this supposed to be used after using a shower gel? Or is it supposed to be used on its own like a soap?
Since this one isn't very moisturizing, I'd use it before you wash to try to exfoliate your skin first. I say that because this one is mostly made of glycerin instead of butters and oils which will give you a slick effect on your skin, and it has polysorbate 20 which is like a cleanser, so it's got a little bit of a skin cleaning effect too. If you were to use a body scrub that is mostly butters and oils, not other ingredients, I would tell you to use that AFTER washing your skin because it will do a nice job of moisturizing your skin too. But you dont want to use a scrub that has those nice butters and oils on before and then wash, because you'd just be washing them all down the drain. Hope that helps!
Y'all for me I got tree hut scrubs for 100 - 60$
i live in mass and it was 10 dollars at cvs
That seems like a lot!! I’m in mass too :) Maybe it was just cvs. But maybe they are about $10 now
Heheheh out of the US its 23dollars 😅
Can someone please please tell me a brand of a body scrub that is very rough? I don’t want a gentle one and I’m finding it difficult to come across one. Any info is appreciated!
Ypu actually wouldnt want your scrub to be toooo rough - especially if its a physical scrub (like a sugar based scrub). If you need a bit more - you can try dry brushing - its where you take a brush and scrub your skin prior to showering and it just helps to loosen up dead cells and prep your skin for deeper cleansing. If you have other skin issues, you can also try a chemical exfoliant or a scrub that has chemical exfoliant ingredients like AHAs and BHAs that will help to clear the skin from deeper than the surface. Let me know if you have any other questions & I hope that was helpful! :)
At target they are 7 or 8 dollars
ooh thats good to know!!
@@aaliyahbellarose Meijer is the cheapest
@@lolathebunny6735 I dont think we have that here in the northeast!
I have the blue lagoon it smells so good!
Ooh I will have to check that out!
Thst is a strong filter, bc I have that exact same body scrub and it is pink-
I think there is a filter on this particular video, but every time I've gotten the watermelon scent, it's always been a reddish color and then once you pull it out and use it its more translucent. It's still one of my faves!
@@aaliyahbellarose yea it’s kinda red but it’s never that red, it’s more a pinkish red
Should you use this before you shave or after?
Hi! This is a great question - I would suggest using this prior to shaving. This will help to exfoliate the area, remove dead skin & prep it for the shave. If you were to shave then exfoliate, that could be irritating for your skin because you'd be going over that freshly shaven skin with a rough scrub. So, after you use the body scrub, I'd suggest waiting a couple minutes or using that time to wash your skin, so it can allow your skin a moment before you go in with the razor and oil/shaving cream. Also, always follow up with a body oil/lotion/body butter to protect your skin and keep it moisturized, which can help the healing process and keep your skin from drying out after the shave. Also, you can take a look at this video i posted for more on shaving & using body scrubs: czcams.com/video/EZYCBp24E94/video.html . Hope that helped! Let me know if you have any other questions or products you'd like me to talk about or show in a video! :)
Bruh Americans get it for $9!! I live in Australia and no where sells it fr… so we gotta order online and IT LIKE $36 and up to buy !!
OMG! That's insane!!
I get mine ay Kroger and it's $7
Nice! I didnt think they'd have it there!
Dude $9?! At Meijer they’re 7
Oh wow! Maybe the price has changed this was the price back when I bought it - I also live in MA where everything’s more expensive lol
Ya, at target they're $7 but other stores have them up to $10
I didn’t like it. The little black beads (seeds) were annoying (were all over the tub floor) and the scent was too strong. Very sweet and overwhelming.
Exactly! That was a huge annoyance to me as well with the little beads everywhere lol
My name is Aaliyah to😄
Heyyy sis 🤎
THEY SELL THEM AT WALMART
Yes! They are very accessible:)
You could get at Walmart for 7$
Yes! This brand is relatively inexpensive :)
❤
hi can someone tell me where to shop online?
hi, are you trying to find this online? You can buy tree hut scrubs from ulta.com or on amazon:)
thank you
I thought I'm very happy ☺️
I got mine at Walmart
They’re also at Walmart for $6.48
that's silica, not the glycerin
Thanks for replying! This scrub does have silica in it, but what I was talking about was the glycerin. It gives it the texture and is a moisturizing agent. Some body scrubs rely on heavier butters for the moisturizing ingredients, but tree hut uses glycerin which is a cheaper ingredient to use, which i think contributes to the lower price point. So, they're able to still give some hydration and moisture to the skin, but it's generally not as strong or reliable as other ingredients, but is good if you need something cleansing and can be layered. Also, you can check out this website to find out more about ingredients, just add it in your browser correctly since I can't technically add sites in comments :) incidecoder. com/ products/ tree-hut-shea- sugar-scrub- vitamin-c
They were like seven dollars at Walmart
Stock up on them!!
Mines green but watermelon
Its green?? Ive never seen that!
I got tree hut for $30-
Where do you buy them because I live in the UK and they are really expensive were I live
Oh no! I buy them on ulta ‘s website - it’s a beauty store here in america, you could also go to tree hut website and then they’ll have a button you can find a retailer :)
