What is DWR?
adidas TERREX GORE‑TEX boots and jackets are treated with an ultra-thin durable water repellent (DWR) coating that pushes water into droplets on the surface of the material.
Regular wear and tear, dirt and exposure to impurities cause the water repellency to wear off. This reduces the breathability of the boots as water can then sit in the top layer of the material.
If the water-repellent coating can no longer be re-activated with heat from an iron or tumble drier, it's time to re-apply the coating with a DWR spray. Always read the instructions carefully before starting the reapplication.

Followed all the instructions and used Granger's footwear and gear cleaner and the dwr restorer Repel plus and allowed to dry and my terrex a4x gtx don't bead and immediately soak water. I even applied two coats with dry time. What's wrong with my terrex?? The goretex label on the side may as well not be on there.

Just buy a new shoe every time.
