Hope Uhred is doing better. Poor pup! Your Christmas savings is AMAZING! If I were you , I'd fund next year and stick it in a high yield. Our Christmas budget is $835 including wrapping paper, bags, etc. Including $60 extra/buffer/misc. lol I have a strict list.

You hav3 done so amazing. I'm hoping now we are in one house and finish up moving from the other rental I can get better. It's so hard though my husband is so different to me with money.
We are different, too. It can be frustrating at first but if you keep it up - you will be showing him by doing. Practicing what you preach.
Dave Ramsey is also very adamant about - no one gets wealthy by being on different sides. If you are married, you have to do it together or it won’t work.
Jason has definitely changed over time- gotten more frugal and not so quick to spend but we still have differences.

@@2SisterBees I’ve started a one month ahead. I just transfer my money to savings each time I have extra. Maybe I’ll take it out because I love stuffing envelopes.
What I don’t understand is what happens when you come under budget for certain categories ex. You budget 100 for food each month and it only costs 86 so you have 14 extra. Do you roll it over and have 114 for the next month, do you put it in savings challenges, I get so confused
