- Welcome back folks! I had put too much time into my Elmcreek map when the Platinum Expansion DLC came out. So I was determined to bring the trees to me! I made a section on the map that allowed me to bring all available tree sapling types from the Platinum DLC into my setup. I made a how-to video here right from a fresh field right up to full growth/ready to cut. I hope you all enjoy the video and maybe this will give you some ideas for your own setup. Thank you very much. I first tried a small scale version in 19. So in 22, especially with Platinum possibilities. I knew I had to try! I am so very happy with the results. That perfectionist definitely came out in spades here! 😁

great video . I've found that since the platinum expansion the price of wood chips skyrocketed comparable to wheat with many times the yield compared to that of other crops . Planting poplar is a gold mine but everyone hates it and its often ignored and never talked about but just a few acres of it can yield tens of thousands of dollars with minimal equipment costs and multiple harvesting options such as bio baler or poplar head for lacotech attachment or forage harvestor
Thank you very much! I never paid attention to the prices prior to but that's good to know. I've actually never done poplar so that's in the plans as I type. So I'm super excited to see the results. I'm small/medium scale at the moment and picked up the bio-baler from the used section for a steal. Can't wait till try it out. Thanks for the info, now I'm even more pumped to get it done! 😁
@@ShamusLife a few things to know that might help with poplar is that when you hire a worker to plant they will go to the property line and not field edge when using the sapling planter so you kinda have to babysit them ,and its possible to double plant within a field by manually getting as close to to row as possible normally it wants to skip a row .poplar will grow back and only needs fertilized after harvest growth cycle is about 13 month s for first time then 12 after

Hello,i buyed the platinum expansion dlc and activated it,but on the map elmcreek it does not show the expansion what should i do?
Now when you say "it does not show", what isn't showing? The equipment in the shop or the products in the store or the productions in the construction menu?

@@andreirofficial so I'm a little confused but that's ok we can figure this out. So when it comes to "adding" Platinum to Elmcreek, it will give you the ability to place/purchase products into the map. It will not automatically place on map for you. Can you go into the construction menu and go under "Factories". At the end of the list there should be factories that have the "Platinum Expansion" noted at the bottom of the picture. Can you see those?
