Lowkey, NF wouldn't be NF without Tommee's beats
Truth. NF is incredible lyrically, but 90% of music is theme & adequate production. NF has a style unmatched in large part because of Tommee, and at the same time, Tommee's beats are incredible with an artist like NF on them. It's like the difference between an MVP vs. a championship. Everybody wants to be an MVP, but a championship is so much sweeter. To win a championship, you have to have an incredible team. These two are every bit of that.
NF can't just have a normal beat. He needs the cinematic powerhouse beats that Tommee makes

This man is as much of a genius as NF. Nate has some incredible lyrical content and his flow is amazing but it is all brought together by some killer beats. I don't know if TP is responsible for them all but it sounds like definitely the majority.
Yeah he pretty much is.... I you look into it the way I remember reading it. There labels kinda paired the two of them and I guess it was instant magic from there.... I'm also pretty sure NF himself is pretty talented behind the wheel of a DAW also if I had to guess.... but that's just speculation... lol
That's the big difference between producer who uses great harmonies, and producers who don't know what "harmony" is.
without a doubt my favorite producer! as a person with literally thousands of hours in video editing i absolutely love this "making of..."
The mood and effect that is created by the music is so compelling. Combining that with NF’s ability to convey emotional range with rapping and singing is brilliant. It’s getting to the point where the lyrics and music are so enthralling that the visuals from the videos are overwhelming. I have to listen to the song with my eyes closed and try to take it in pieces. I’m so excited for the songs to come.

I've always enjoyed listening to cinematic and orchestral scores my whole life, but I've never liked traditional hip-hop and rap, and hence listen to only a handful of artists in that genre( A rare one being Zack Hemsey). NF was the perfect storm I didn't know I needed, your production along with Nate's emotional depth is sooo insanely captivating.

I'm so happy that you're sharing even more from your creations, and this is yet another insane track. I imagined that there would be a lot of layers, and you even said it yourself, but I really wasn't expecting that many, so now I appreciate and enjoy the instrumental that much more. The energy of both it and NF's rapping is through the roof, with so many subtle details, the amazing progression of the beat and adding a few layers/elements at a time, as well as his voice getting a few decibels louder with every new section. I love the end with those hard and mean hits, and how they were present throughout the track but didn't have as many effects on them yet (it was like a subtle hint for what is to come), like the most noticeable which is the reverb and that they were much more staccato at the start, whereas they were fully drawn out by the end and it was a perfect ending to the song. Just phenomenal work all round and I can't wait to see what else you two have been cooking up, great video :)
Seriously, the music you produce for NF is exactly what I’m looking for in my everyday listens and nothing comes close. Cinematic rap getting a rep began with you two and I’m overwhelmed by how much I love what I hear. Genius work. Do not stop making beats for NF please lol like ever.
