Let me tell you something ya'll. One of the warmest feelings I've ever experienced (aside from my family) is when a good family basically adopts you. I am not a hugger by any means and nearly need to be dragged out of the house for family gatherings, but I have two great friends with two great families and I'm the almost adopted kid in both. The company is great, the food is fantastic, and the hugs are warm. It's not a bad thing, especially for an introvert like me that works, sleeps, and sits at my computer. Oh and I cuddle my dogs. My roommate's dog is also my dog, so he gets cuddles too. Also Koro-san's mom sounds like a wonderful lady. It's no wonder the daughter turned out so well. There's good genes in that family.
