Also if you have any interest in propagating perennials such as these we have recently launched a propagation course and there is a link in the description with more information :)
Slugs are devastating everything I plant. Watching your videos have introduced me to plants I've never seen. Thank you so much for your time, effort and advice. I'll work it out in the end. Night time torch slug hunting isn't making a dent.
I’ve had success against slugs with a product “sluggo”. My hostas were the most affected. I cut some leaves off to make them less dense & cleaned up dead leaves underneath. Seems to have worked. Good luck!
Same here, Rosy recommends putting bran around. I've got some ready to try 🤞
Horrid little coffin border! I was thrilled to get some soil that wasn’t shaded puggy clay. Really helpful thanks; lots of things I have never seen before
So many are new to us. Even though we do not have the right zone for some, so enjoyed seeing the alpine layout. What little lovelies ! We can just imagine the tactile aspect for children or sight-impaired also. Thks.again for this very different video,Rosie. 🌞
Perfect!Thank you Rosy 🙏
Excellent video. It's good to see that summer has finally reached Whitchurch so that you've been able to discard your down jacket!!
Yes it took its time arriving...
Yes but only for a short time it will be back on again soon 😢😂
Love your videos!
Hello Rosie, thank you so much for sharing with us, lovely video, great advice, amazing choice of plants.
However, I walk the High Alps almost every summer and when I think of alpine flowers, what I remember most are high valleys with knee high grass, full of wild flowers with glacial streams and cows/sheeps. Higher up I just watch my steps.
Love it thx Rosy
PS Thank you in advance, if you can help.
I love alpines. Really informative video thanks. Will these types do as well in normal soil bed? am sun, pm shade
Uk midlands, full sun, big fie tree, lawn under tree has disappeared, its dry and hard to dig because of added problem of roots. Do u have a solution for this? I'm not sure succulents will grow there.
