    Very well done. I just bought a nice little Tercel today, and both front struts were frozen up and need replacing. Found your video which will definitely help me get the job done. Thanks Jose for posting!

    Thank you Jose for your wonderful Tercel videos! Was able to change both front and back struts in about 2 hours total. KYB struts from Amazon $187.52 plus $95 for a decent spring compressor. (yes, you can borrow a cheap one from Autozone but I wanted the style with one bolt and interchangeable yokes) Reused the upper suspension mounts, only thing I should've done differently was purchase new front boots. The rears were still in usable shape but the fronts were shredded. 1997 w/243K miles and rides wonderfully again!

    Forget it mention on the video that I commented on. I need a fuel door lock for my 96. I took the lock from my 93 n installed on my 96. 93 n 96 take the same lock n will fit. Been checking everywhere but I haven't been able to locate one. If you or anyone from the Tercel nation come across one please let me know. ✌️

    I find all Tercel have a week right front shock,
    Every 40.000miles it needs to be done

    Do you know if there are compatible strut assemblies from a different vehicle, like a corolla of the same year, that would fit this car? I need new coils/struts and mounts and they don't sell the full assembly anywhere

    Como esta s chamo ? Los struts de al frente. Y los de atrás. De un Toyota Tercel 1996 le caen a el Tercel 1991. ?

      Use 1/2" drive ratchet. Spray with a penetrating lubricant like a PBS or anything compatible. Let it t sit overnight. Spray it again and keep spreading

      Spraying. 1/2" breaker will help you losen the bolts

      @elchanojose  Před rokem +1

      Hello Jaydatmf! We buy most of our parts from RockAuto.com and some from AutoZone auto parts stores. In todays day most of the parts are lifetime warranty depending the place you buy them. Take well care Jaydatmf!

      That is a possibility but you should check your spark plugs, plug wires, and ignition coils first.
