- Is it any wonder? I was waiting for friends to come out of a music festival. Decided to pull up 93.5 fm KDAY and listen to Art Laboe. Nothing like listening to oldies in a cold L.A. night.

Rip Art, I remember my mom used to dedicate so many songs to my pops while he was locked up in 06. A time I’ll never forget, knowing my pops was on the other end listening to the songs with us.

I grew up in Lancaster, I remember staying up late on Sunday nights with my radio and tapes to record oldies on the Art Laboe Sunday night show early 2000’s.....A couple of years later I went to boot camp in San Diego..... I was on post in the barracks late one Sunday night.....We had a radio clock at the duty stand and I turned it on to 92.3 for some oldies with Art, it was really low so only I could hear it... But just listening to Art in that type of atmosphere overlooking the lights out in San Diego, fucking nice!!!! 👍 love you Art

Grew up listening to him and Huggy Boy back in the day, on KRLA. Both gone now. They've got some stories to get caught up on, once they meet-up on the flip side. RIP...

I went to a party at his house off of Hollywood and Sunset back in '83, '84. The girl I was with, whom I had just met, led me there. Lots of people, lots of strange vibes cause most everyone including her and I were doing coke. Some really good coke! Very strange night. There were some very prominent people there I'm sure but too much coke man!
Started listening to art when i was 9 years old im 55 with a heavy hart our sunday evenings will never be the same thank you for all you have done through the years art forever in our harts RIP 2022
