Lets talk sodium hydroxide! I'm not much of a person who reads the ingredients so thats why I come to y'all! So lets talk about these ingredients in this product.
Sodium hydroxide is used as a pH adjuster and a gel activating agent with the ingredient CARBOMER.
Carbomer has to be activated to form a gel so a pH adjuster like sodium hydroxide is typically used.
It is not something to worry about, its better than using TEA or EDTA

Braid outs don’t fluff enough, and wash and gos scare me lol but your hair is ALWAYS bomb, so I’m going for it lol

My hair dont play with me like that. I recently started trying it. And even with this gel i get a curly fro. So thats how i usually wear it.
I guess it’s because I have very stubborn and coarse hair that shrinks a lot.
But I love my fros anyways.
GC C my hair is thin, curl-resistant lol and not very dense...and I’m STILL struggling lol I bought some products, so I’m going to try it after my protective style

I MUST THANK YOU for showing me the finished style with your same beautiful face. When ladies show me the process but then pop up with a fully glammed face, I can't tell if I genuinely love the hairstyle or if I'm just distracted by the makeup.

@@veegee1238 I have all three types in my hair and it doesn't work as well on my 4c as the 4b/4a. I may have to try & use more on the 4c and figure out how to work it but it's bomb AF on the 4a portions and it does well with laying down edges

the new one has more elongation and has a slightly thinner consistency with a slightly different hold. it hold my edges *DOWN* and it's definitely not as crunchy my hair be so soft. I like to mix both now n the definition goes crazy but still the soft feel and I gt lots of body n movement so I was excited

Danielle Don I have had dreads for over 10 years and I want to comb them out but it takes forever. Are you done yet? What’s your technique?
Natasha Hamilton I’ve had my locs for 8 years! It takes a lot of patience. It took me about a week. I used a spray bottle with water, a rat tail comb (metal tail) and I used conditioner to soften up the hair. I’d take some out in the morning, go to work, and take some out at night. I had about 120 locs. You can do it!
I always coat my hair with castor oil when taking it down

Darling I think you need to try a small jar b4 finishing your old wetline to see if it can mix with your hair products. I bought the new wetline at publix for a $1.09. It was a smaller version and I tested it. Apparently it works well with 98% of my hair products. I tried it on my hair and it had great hold.

@@miurtouissi1093 she looks to have 4a/b/c. Most of us usually do and then there are other factors some 4b's for example have silky curls while others (like myself) have fluffy. Porosity is also another difference smh, curls can be complicated.

Beautiful. I can’t do wash n go’s, my hair is too fine and breakage prone. But I love looking at the videos lol
I'm fine to but find that wash and goes make my hair look fuller. Try Olaplex 3 to strengthen your fine strands. If you can, go to a salon to do step 1 and 2. If not just use step 3 and it will strengthen your strands by reconnecting the bonds. It is NOT a protein treatment to make it clear. Shout out to my fine hair ladies!
christine1962ful thanks for the suggestion. I just avoid them because 1) I’m lazy and 2) for me it’s over manipulation. I’m pretty sure it’s my diet that’s causing my hair to suffer.

This was definitely me. Whatever products I mixed it with it flaked. I used it alone and it didn't flake but it was super crunchyyyyy. I banded my hair and it was still crunchy as hell
